"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"Jordan M. was excellent in skill and service. He arrived on time, got right to work and completed the shower install when he said he would. He was respectful of our home and cleaned up after he was finished. Our new shower is gorgeous! We will highly recommend him."

"We had Champion Windows installed and after 2 years there will is $99 plus(inflation) for service to be performed. The contract speaks of unlimited seal failures which do not cover any sealant issues. Anytime after the 2 years be prepared for the service department and the installation team to fight you on fixing your issues. The lady that was scheduling my maintenance pretty much came up with every reason possible that cause have caused the leak besides poor labor practices. The installation team told me that poor cleaning and possibly the glare from my neighbors house window could melt the caulking. I would not recommend Champion Windows to anyone. The failure of their caulking job has caused water to leak inside of our house which has now become our problem. Windows should have more than a 2 warranty on labor, if it is a good product. Windows and doors are major seals for any home. I should not have to constantly worry about sealant melting or eroding in a few years. Champ"

"The process from start to finish was quick for me. The turn around was about 3 weeks. The project team was timely and professional and made sure I was updated on any timeline changes. Eric, Diego, and Robert did an excellent job and executed exactly what was quoted. They made sure to use tarps and mats that left no mess from their work and debris was taken from the site. I am very happy with their work."

"Hired them to level one corner of an addition which was sinking and had broken the slab foundation resulting in a crack and non level floor in that corner. They jacked up the sunken corner and supported it with footings. I was generally satisfied with the work. However, the contract specified that they were to then come in and cut out a two foot trench (one foot each side of the ~15' crack in the slab), remove the rubble, drill in rebar to the two sides and refill the trench with concrete. After jacking up the corner, the two management level guys oohed and ahhed about how good the crack looked. They suggested that cutting the trench was not necessary. So, what I got was a guy spent a few hours grinding the two sides of the crack smooth in a few places and then pushing concrete into the crack. I was OK with that. However, that's a LOT of work they had just been relieved of and I felt a price adjustment was appropriate. That was not forthcoming. They charged me the full amount even though they did not have to do a big chunk of work they had signed a contract to do. So, despite what I felt was generally good work, I came away from the experience with a bad taste of "bait and switch". Be prepared for that if you hire them."

"I strongly caution anyone considering Great Day Improvements / Patio Enclosures. Their representative pressured a homeowner into prepaying for a patio enclosure before HOA approval, assuring that approval would be ?no problem.? The HOA ultimately denied the project multiple times, yet the company refused to honor its own contract, which requires a refund when approval cannot be obtained. Management attempted to justify keeping a large portion of the payment using misleading contract interpretations and demanded a signed legal release before issuing even a partial refund. The experience was deeply disappointing, stressful, and showed little regard for fair dealing or consumer protection. Anyone working with this company should insist on written confirmation of all representations and never make payment before full HOA or permit approval."

"Dennys Painting installed our drywall, float, texture, and painted the interior of our new barndo. The also tiled our showers and did our trim work. They did a great job! Dennys and his guys listen and strive to insure you are happy every step of the way. They also clean up as they progress. They are honest and trustworthy and do what you agree apon. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!"
