"Everything went well.  I called early morning of 6.17.13, and the plumber arrived around 10 a.m.  They were professional and courteous. 
The only downside was that they had to charge the $97.50 fee for coming out, which I wasn't too disappointed about because it was an education on how water heaters work.  We'll know next time!
