"Mr. Gutierrez made an appointment to discuss the scope of the work and arrived on time. We discussed the scope of the work, various alternatives and the approximate price. He called the next day with a firm bid that was less than other vendors for the same work. On the scheduled work day, he arrived early. He leveled the area, created the proper grade for drainage and laid out the desired pattern of pavestones and rocks. Additionally, he developed a solution for a drainage issue I didn't realize I had and finished off by repairing the concrete. His final bill was within a few dollars of the promised amount after an adjustment for additional materials I wanted. In short, Mr Gutierrez did an excellent job and I would recommend him."

"We worked withI was referred to Golden State Builders Group through a request on Angi. We had some long delayed projects around our home: replacing brown shingle siding on a large and tall west facing wall (with Hardy Board for reducing fire risk), replacing five windows and putting in a long drain the foot of our driveway which constantly has caused flooding in our garage. I worked with Ben from the outset and gradually came to an agreement on the scope of work and the price (which kept coming down as we negotiated). I was going out of town so the actual work was delayed by my request for over a month but as soon as I returned, Ben called and the work was scheduled. Throughout the process Ben communicated frequently and responded quickly to calls. All the subcontractors were excellent and the project proceeded quickly except when the weather interrupted the workers. Towards the end of the project, it turned out that I had accidentally paid one invoice/scheduled payment twice and wh"

"Andy did a great job on wiring a new building as well as adding cat 5 wiring to my existing home. He worked around some challenging access issues for the cat 5 install and made sure everything was working before he left. The quality of all the work was outstanding. He provided some good advice in one aspect of the install in the new build, helping me avoid a costly mistake. He was very friendly, timely, and easy to work with. His prices were entirely fair. "A big chunk of our back fence was blown down by a recent windstorm. Mason was able to give me a prompt estimate, which included fixing the piece that had fallen, as well as replacing some existing posts (so the rest wouldn't blow down next time). He fit us in as quickly as possible, given that unseasonably rainy weather was slowing him down. He and his crew were very professional, and made excellent recommendations to maximize the life of our fence. They were also careful not damage our Invisible Fence wire.
