"My gas stove continuously kept clicking and we couldn't turn it off.  We unplugged the stove and called appliance fix.  They came out the same day and surprisingly the problem was not occurring anymore when they plugged the stove back on.  He said he could replace the burner but his hunch was that water had dripped on the burner and had caused the problem.  He told me next time to just unplug, clean the burner and then turn on.  He was fare and didn't automatically offer to replace burner. I did have to pay $75 fee for them to come out.  I will use this company again.

"They were a bit too stealthy. Every time they come out, they send out a different technician, so we're not getting consistent information from them on the things that are needed. That wasn't the first time we used A#1 Air, but I believe that would be the last time we used them. There was a huge upcharge, for the subcontracting or whatever. There was a significant upcharge because of whatever, so I used Mr Duct Cleaner. They're great on responsiveness. They are always on time. They should have one person do a block because they send different people every time, which is a negative because different people have different opinions and it gets very confusing. They keep an internal log of the comments and things like that that they have about the residence, but you aren't able to view that information to see what a previous technician has said or recommended. A different person has come to our residence every single time we've used their services and we've been using them since probably 2011. We've never had the same person come out. Up until this year they were giving us a piece of paper every time someone came out and I was trying to keep up with everything that they were saying, but now, according to the technician that came out in December, they have it where those notes are put into a system and he is able to see it on his iPad that he brought but I don't know what those notes are. So I don't know what he is putting in there and I don't know what was said previously, I'm going through sheets of paper trying to figure out, "Okay, I feel like we got that done," "No, you didn't have it done. This is what they did on this visit." So if they would allow clients to log into some type of online whatever to see the different services that they provided at a particular appointment and the notes that the technician had that would be great. But, I have like a set of papers. It is cumbersome to keep up with everything that they give you and know that, "Okay, so this technician said we needed this, this technician said we needed this." We thought we got this done, no, he didn't do that, this is what he did. That is confusing as a customer. So they need to get a little more organized. I just feel like they should have maybe two people. They should have a book of clients and they have two people go out to that person all the time."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"I used the Schedule Now function at midnight on Monday, hoping for an appt on Tuesday (yeah, right!), as it was my only day off this week.  I'd asked for a phone call (or ideally a text), and when I hadn't gotten a response by 10a, logged onto my email.  Sure enough, there was an email from Steve at Dallas Glass and Mirror.  He HAD tried to both call and text me ~ but my phone wasn't ringing, so I wasn't aware?  He apologized for not getting back to me sooner (it was MY fault my phone wasn't ringing);  he didn't have any openings left for Tuesday, but could come by first thing Wednesday (today).  As he suspected he'd only need access to the outside of the house ~ and I was clear I'd happily clean up any mess that fell inside if he were willing to do the work without my being present ~ we agreed he'd come by this morning.
While I was gone, Steve and his partner did a FANTASTIC job replacing the missing window pane, and left no sign of having been there (i.e. no bits of putty, nor glass), other than the shiny new window.  As for any mess that fell inside for me to clean up ~ there wasn't any!
My only regret is that I didn't have him replace the other window that I'd done a lousy DIY job of earlier this year...
