"The whole experience was great. It started with the owner coming out to give me the price and answer questions. I asked many questions, and I could tell he had done many quality fences before because he was able to put me at ease with all my concerns. He had solutions for every situation I brought up. I could tell he would be a good problem solver should problems come up. I like to know how a company handles problem issues because that tells me whether or not I should do business with them. When I brought up a concern like contouring the ground so my dogs could not get out, he put me at ease that it would be done, and he said there are options to cover spaces between the bottom of the fence and the ground should the contour of my fence area be a problem due to my property contour. I asked about the double gate to make sure there would not be space where the gates come together. Again he assured me it would be tight. We discussed the quality of the powder coated panels and how the last thing they do is touch up any imperfections that may have occurred. I had many other questions answered , and it removed the "worry" from the situation. After talking with him and hearing how he does business and how he installs fences, I knew this was the right company for me. The installation went great. Once my job was near the front of the line, they called me periodically to keep me informed about the scheduling of my job so I would know what to expect. The installation team was very skilled at their jobs. From the setting of the posts to the final panel weld, they were professional, courteous, and super workers! They respected my property and left it clean like they found it. I will recommend Blacksmith Fence Company to my friends and family."

"Matthew helped me to repair an existing security gate. The gate had no power when he showed up, and we tried to power the gate. After the gate had power, it still wasn't fully functional. Matthew then replaced some circuitry as well as the motherboard, and added a key-pad entry system to help with security measures. I would recommend Matthew and Johnson's Automatic Gate based on my experience."

I initially called to see if they had a recommendation for someone who worked on gates but was pleasantly surprised when they said that they do and sent someone out right away! "They have previously replaced one of the pieces of wood that broke off the gate and they have worked on the gate when it would not open (determined there was a defect due to the cold) and replaced the defective part.  We have always been happy with their work. I think it is a fairly small company so sometimes they can't get out same day but they have kept us informed of their status.  We would definitely use them again!

"I scheduled Mason Man to rebuild my entire backyard fence.  I have 3 dogs who had become expert escape artists due to the poor condition of my old fence.  Immediately after the old fence was removed, the weather took a turn for the worse.  There was several days of rainy and cold weather. The crew came out anyway and worked through the bad weather and built the new fence in an amazingly short time considering the bad weather.  The back half of my yard turns into a lake when it rains really hard, so the crew had to work hard to keep the finish the project without dragging it out for several more days.  This was greatly appreciated by myself and my dogs!  I expressed my concern to Jay that my dogs had a tendency to dig under the fence to escape.  He suggested that we put a concrete curb under the fence.  It looks very nice and I have no worries anymore about my dogs getting loose.  They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they were done and my backyard looked neater than when they started!  I highly recommend their service.  I have them scheduled to build a stone patio in my back yard and to repair my driveway.  I look forward to working with them again."

"I recently purchased the home and the back fence was missing. Since the home is next to a water easement the town of Fort Worth was going to assess fines if I did not have the fence up within a week after purchase (seriously). "Joels fence designs took into consideration style, durability, quality, cost, and functionality.  I had a tentative idea of what I wanted with this project but had specific concerns regarding my very large dogs which Joel addressed extremely well.    Joel listened to what I had to say and walked through it with me on site.  He thought of things I hadn't even considered and made appropriate suggestions to fill the gaps in my plan.  

I had him put in a 6 foot wooden privacy fence with a gate along the back of the property.  In addition, he designed and installed a wrought iron fence around the upper tier of my deck and yard including multiple gates.  Lastly, he built a fence on my side yard to form a dog run including stairs from my upper to lower tiers of my yard. 

Joel was professional, helpful, and extremely responsive.  He ensured all work performed was completed in a timely manner and also that his team cleaned up and left my property in great shape.  He has since followed up to make sure his work has continued to meet my expectations.

I think this should be right out there - His pricing was fair and there were NO HIDDEN ITEMS OR SURPRISES. And yes, I had shopped around - I'm an auditor after all.  I will definitely be a repeat customer.  Thanks Joel
