"I have used Mr Wilson’s Plumbing and Drain Solution for many years! They fixed a leaking pipe in the bathroom that leads outdoors, unstopped my toilet and drains, put in a new water heater, fixed a leaking pipe behind wall in bathroom and many other task! Their work is unbelievable amazing and they clean up after themselves! Always greet you with a big smile, they are kin, genuine and caring about the job they are working on! They give you an estimate on job to be completed! They are the best and I wouldn’t use anyone else for my plumbing needs!!"

"The work and customer service is the best I have experienced in 17 years of home ownership. Then today, New Years Eve, my second sewer line backed up and they couldn’t get to it and they referred me to another plumber who came and saved us from backed up lines over the holidays. They are really remarkable."

"I recently hired Leaky's to install a new hot water heater, but I wasn't expecting a full-blown cinematic experience. Mitchell showed up at my door in a full Superman costume—cape and all—and honestly, the performance didn't stop at the outfit. While installing a water heater is usually a standard job, Mitchell treated it like he was saving Metropolis. He handled the heavy lifting with ease, and the installation was flawless. But what really set him apart was how he went completely above and beyond the call of duty once the primary job was done. Without being asked, he noticed I was struggling with a few things around the property. He helped haul a massive amount of trash to the dumpster & then spent time organizing the garage, clearing out clutter that had been sitting there for months. It was like having a superhero-themed concierge service. If you want a plumber who provides professional service & Herculean strength Mitchell with Leaky's is your man. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent service! Fast, professional, and reliable. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the job with great attention to detail. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and they left everything clean when they finished. Fair pricing and outstanding customer service. I would definitely recommend them for handyman work, junk removal, tree trimming, repairs, and home maintenance. I’ll be using them again for future projects!"

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

Frost-free hose bibs are undoubtedly worth the investment, especially in regions with freezing temperatures. While they may have a higher upfront cost than standard bibs, the expense pales in comparison to the cost of repairing pipe leaks or the cost of water damage caused by frozen and burst pipes. The added protection and peace of mind they offer make them a cost-effective choice in the long run.

Silicone caulk—despite having some adhesive properties—is not the primary thing that holds your sink in place. Rather, it seals the gaps around the sink to prevent water from leaking and causing issues with mold and corrosion. Most sinks are secured by clips, though some sinks are secured with two-part epoxy or brackets.

Pipefitting is a more specialized profession, and pipefitters work with complex systems and low- and high-pressure pipes, so it can be considered harder than plumbing. Though each profession comes with its challenges, the nature of pipefitting requires working with heavier materials in fast-paced and dangerous environments, which can be more challenging than working on residential and commercial plumbing systems.

On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.

Plumbing leaks are usually not covered by homeowners insurance because the problems are avoidable with proper maintenance. In most cases, you’ll have to pay out of pocket for a fix. However, if the leak is a direct result of a natural disaster, like an earthquake that cracked a pipe or a house fire, your insurance may cover the repairs.
