"Mr. [Member Name Removed] bought this home in October and soon realized he had made a terrible mistake as the home is in below standard condition and a great loss to him financially. We agreed on 4 days, however, condition of the foundation was unsafe and needed to be resolved before work continued. The bathroom addition had been built on a foundation of 2x6 framework sitting on the dirt with no cement footers or foundational support. Any decent inspection would have caught the problems with the floor and foundation but they didn’t seem to get one for some reason. The home’s floors are “wavy” and the cheap plank laminate flooring was not designed for such poor sub-flooring and will come apart at the seams. There are many other problems that would’ve been blamed on our presence there. It was apparent to me, that his embarrassment and anger towards his idiotic decision to purchase this home in terrible condition was being directed towards my company. His unreasonable demands, such as removing tools and materials from the jobsite daily on an unoccupied 2nd home, and started to become time consuming and I realized he was going to use that as reasons for non-payment. He also changed from a pre-fabricated drop in shower to tile shower walls expecting the same time frame. Again unreasonable and uneducated demands as any idiot will understand that tile requires 24-hr dry time from setting tile to grout and 24-hrs before applying sealant simple math adds at least 2 days. I chose to terminate contract as many changes were made and unreasonable expectations placed, as well as home being in below standard condition made it impossible to continue on job. There are several other lies on his comments and legal action is being filed against Mr. [Member Name Removed] for several reasons at this point."
