After contacting numerous other "foundation experts", Willie provided the best plan and backed it up with his overall knowledge and certification/training in basement/foundation repair. He and his team do great work and take no short-cuts when it comes to the overall quality of the work. He also was very flexible when other requests were made and he gladly accommodated. "Foundation was repaired and leveled, but the person who came out to give the quote indicated that the skirting would be repaired and that a rotted beam at the front of the house would be replaced, and that all piers would be strapped with five (5) straps for lateral stability. The piers were replaced but only one strap was used, several of them were broken, and the rotted beam was not replaced. I didn't say anything about it when the repair was done, so they may have fixed those things if I'd been more on the ball about inspecting their work. But I don't think the details of the repair were well communicated to the work crew. The actual installation of the piers went well and the house is still level, so the main purpose of the job was achieved well enough."
