"The installers were very polite and courteous. They understood my concerns and reached out to others at Premier to address them right away. They did a very good job fixing my walk in shower and the issues I have with the shower curtain rod and the missing trim are going to be fixed in about a week. Overall my experience went really well. They worked until the job was done in a day and I really appreciated that."

"I just finished a major project with ARTESA Build and Design.New wood siding on the gabriels and replaced all other bad wood on my house and garage and exterior painting. This is a good company. Roni the project manager came by every day to check on the job  progression and to see if I had any concerns. Danielle the owner dropped by too. Only rain slowed this 7 day job. This company is easy to deal with and they listen. With Artesa they give you a warranty, so if something is not done to your satisfaction they will correct it."

"Great presentation by Nick. Very nice, informative, professional and knowledgeable. Super quality products and vert6competitive pricing. Because of very busy installation schedules, it will take 4-6 weeks before walkin shower remodel can happen. We can wait, no problem. It will be worth it."

"It started out just replacing 23 windows in house that I just bought. They did such a great work that I asked them to do more. They replaced all the exterior doors, ripped off all the sidings and replaced it and painted it, painted the entire exterior of my house, also painted the interior of my house. they were very helpful in searching and helping me out for some other problems inside my house, they found an electrical problem and they fixed it.They also did some concrete work in my patio. I was very comfortable working with them , they were not trying to up sell, I was very pleased with the them and I trust them."

"Miguel was very professional and communicated the details of the job clearly. He identified a structural issue with the original wall studs, noting that one was warped. He provided options for addressing this in relation to the initial work. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and he paid close attention to the finished result. I would definitely hire him again."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Start by gutting the old fixtures and features that need to be removed, such as the tile, vanity, and flooring. You may benefit by removing the toilet, even if you intend to use the same one. Next, install the new shower or tub, followed by the flooring, and then the drywall, which you should then paint. After that, install your new cabinets, vanity, countertop, sink, and faucet, in that order. Replace your light fixture next. Lastly, reconnect the toilet.

Of the two most common and affordable bathtub materials, acrylic is notably better. Though fiberglass is cheaper, it is also more prone to scratching, chipping, fading, and cracking. Acrylic holds up better to wear and tear, cleaning, and sun exposure; the slight cost increase is usually worth the increased longevity.

The average cost to convert a tub to a shower is around $3,000, but prices can range from $1,000 to as high as $15,000. A more typical range is between $1,200 and $8,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the amount of plumbing work required, the size of the shower, and the type of materials and fixtures chosen. A prefabricated shower stall is a more budget-friendly option, while a custom shower with features like luxury tiles, unique tiling, smart technology, or accessibility features will be at the higher end of the cost spectrum.

The water supply lines run underneath the bathtub. These two pipes deliver cold and hot water to the bathtub—the cold water comes from the main water supply, and the hot water comes from the water heater. The pipes are made from copper, cream-colored plastic CPVC, or red and blue PEX tubing.

Completing a full standard bathroom remodel offers the best value, with an average return on investment (ROI) of 70%. However, you don't need a full remodel to make an impact. To maximize value, focus on key components like flooring, the tub and shower, vanity, and cabinets. High-value upgrades include installing a walk-in shower, resurfacing a tub, retiling, or expanding the shower. For more budget-friendly options that still increase value, consider repainting with a light, neutral color, or updating the mirror and light fixtures. It's also crucial to address any necessary repairs, such as leaks, mold, or cracked tiles, as buyers will notice these issues. Avoid flashy upgrades like bathtub jets or steam showers, which don't add as much value.
