Tactical Remodeling company was started by Recently Separated Veterans from the US Armed Forces. We believe that contracting, like any mission, must be precise, efficient and reliable. Our employees arrive on time, meet deadlines, and all work is inspected after completion via a walkthrough with our inspector and the client. We ensure everything is squared away at the time of contract so that there is no communication or room for errors. We provide Free Estimates within Bexar County. All other Surrounding areas are subject to a $50 outside-area estimate fee. This fee must be paid at the time of estimate unless contract is signed at the time of estimate. At time of signed contract we require 50% of the total cost to be paid upfront (cash, check, or credit card). The remaining 50% will be collected at the time of the satisfactory walkthrough. *if check is returned for any reason, we charge a $35 off in addition to any fees incurred as a result and the assignment will be paused until the initial 50% is paid in full via cash*

"Horrible! 2/22/2022 Project on flooring started. I paid Roy Puder $468 on 1/16/2022 for a box of flooring which came in and was the wrong flooring. I also had a box of flooring which did not finish the job so that is way I had to order more flooring. Since the box of flooring could not be found, Roy said I would have to wait until May, Roy said he could buy wood and stain it to finish the flooring to match the existing flooring. Roy stated he would refund us the monies from the box we purchased through him. He said he would deduct the monies for the wood he purchased. The wood, stain, and the height of the flooring that he supplied did not match! Roy then told me to sand, finish and complete the job. I found a box from a Florida company and had it shipped to me in days. I called Roy and said I would finish the job because his work was sub-standard. He said he would get us a refund when the company paid him for the returned box that did not match. It has been two months and now he is not responding to text messages. I also paid him an additional $600 on 2/27/2022 for the job before it was even finished and I ended up finishing the job myself. I had to ripe out the bad stained wood and rough flooring and replace it with the correct box of flooring. I don't feel I should even pay for the bad wood that he supplied as it did not match at all and the finish was rough as a cob. I feel I should be refunded for the entire box which was $468 since I had to ripe out the sub-standard flooring and finish it myself. I also only paid $409.30 from the Florida company and feel I was over charged for the box of flooring from Roy. I do not recommend this company."

"Terrible. Contractor would keep delaying appointments - would not show up on time. After we paid in full up front, they removed existing cabinetry at first appointment, leaving bathroom unusable. Eventual new cabinets did not fit, and they were going to have to be rebuilt. Meanwhile, the two men doing the crown molding work did a very terrible job - joints were not flush and it looked worse than before they started. By this time, we had seen enough, and since they had not yet started on the cabinet remake, we opted to cancel the contract and find an actual professional cabinetmaker. Bath by Design owner refused to refund the full amount for the bathroom cabinet work. Told us to complain to BBB. We have tried to get refund for well over a year now, but to no avail. Avoid this company at all costs!"
