"Very professional. He did a fantastic job with my carpet. I bought this carpet at a garage sale and was unaware of the extent of stains. I thought it was trash. He cleaned it and removed all the stains. Mr Thomas is a great Christian and I highly recommend him."

"Pure Professional from estimate to completing job. I had them tear our carpet and install LVF. They were not the least expensive of the estimates- but I was impressed by their knowledge and scope of what they considered part of the job. For example installing quarter round and painting that and the base boards- no one else came close. The job site was impeccably clean at the end of each day. The final product is Outstanding."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

There are a couple of color options to consider when installing carpet in high-traffic areas (like entrances and stairways). Medium-toned colors and patterned carpets can work well in these parts of your home because dirt and stains can blend in easily. Dark carpets will also conceal marks and spills, but they show lint and other light-colored debris. Consider a medium brown or tan for your high-traffic areas. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

Yes, carpets should be replaced after a house fire or significant smoke damage, even if they appear undamaged. Smoke, soot, particulates, and chemicals can penetrate deep into the carpet fibers and padding, making complete removal a complicated and time-consuming process. If water was used to extinguish the fire, it can also soak through the carpet and padding, creating a risk of mold and mildew growth. Due to these challenges and potential health risks, replacing the carpet is the safest and most effective solution.

Avoid plush, high-pile, or thick carpets on your stairs because they can increase the risk of slipping and wear down quickly in busy homes. Also, ensure the carpet you install is stain-resistant, particularly if you select a light color.

Choosing the right carpet involves assessing room usage, desired comfort levels, durability requirements, and stylistic preferences. Carpet fiber types and density should also be considered during the decision-making process.

Carpet installation typically starts with removing the old flooring, preparing the subfloor, laying underpadding for cushioning, and securing the new carpet with tack strips, making precise cuts to fit room dimensions.
