Once the Project was completed a staff member came out to review the completed work and addressed any concerns that I had. I am satisfied with the work that was completed and the cost. "

"We ask they start service beginning in May. They came out April 30th but did not mow due to rain. They spent about 15 mins edging and blowing and gave me a $220 full month invoice for the month of April. Called them to complain; revised bill for edging and blowing to $50. They mowed 4 times in May, did some light weeding and trimming. Weeding and trimming were not substantial enough - - my wife and I had to go back and retrim/weed. Canceled service. Basically wound up paying them about $275 for what should have been $220. We found even the $220 monthly rate as overpriced considering what services were performed."

Whether or not resurfacing concrete is worth it depends on the extent of the damage. If the damage below the top layer of concrete is too extreme, the concrete resurfacing cost may not be worth it, and it’s better to replace it. However, if your concrete has some standard wear and tear, resurfacing can extend its lifespan by adding a protective layer that shields it from future damage—without the cost of replacing the entire slab. Epoxy tends to be the most durable concrete finish, holding up on garage and shop floors for years. Epoxy seals the slab's surface, will run into any cracks and crevices, and can help to level the surface, so it tends to be a durable finish for most applications. The downside to epoxy is that it can be difficult to remove once applied.

You can put pavers over concrete following a similar procedure as above, but there are a few additional risks you need to be aware of—like stability, drainage, and the patio’s thickness. Once you lay a paver patio over concrete, it will be nearly impossible to treat any issues that your concrete may face, like cracks or water pooling. So while you may save some time and money on concrete removal and site prep, it may cost you more in the long run.

Acid-based concrete stain is generally considered the best option because it lasts about four times as long and penetrates the deepest into concrete to give richer, full-bodied colors. If you prefer more vibrant colors, though, many water-based concrete stains are available that could provide a solution you can't find from earth-toned acid-based solutions.

There are a few different types of finishes to choose from for the final step of the project. 

Water-based polyurethane sealants emit fewer odors and fumes but dry quickly, which can pose a challenge when trying to get a smooth coat. Oil-based polyurethane sealants let out more odors and fumes into the air (it’s especially important to wear a respirator if you choose this type), but they take longer to dry, which can be more forgiving during the finishing step. 

Some may prefer wood oil to polyurethane because rather than creating a layer, it becomes part of the wood. Wood oil takes longer to dry, and is less resistant to wear and tear; however, it creates a natural-looking result by enhancing the grain of the wood.
