We ask they start service beginning in May. They came out April 30th but did not mow due to rain. They spent about 15 mins edging and blowing and gave me a $220 full month invoice for the month of April. Called them to complain; revised bill for edging and blowing to $50. They mowed 4 times in May, did some light weeding and trimming. Weeding and trimming were not substantial enough - - my wife and I had to go back and retrim/weed. Canceled service. Basically wound up paying them about $275 for what should have been $220. We found even the $220 monthly rate as overpriced considering what services were performed.

I met with the landscape architect to give guidance for the plan. I was told I would be billed $100 per hour for the plan. Specifically I asked for some roses and 3-4 trees in the front and 4-5 trees in the back. When I got the plan back it had 21 trees and no roses. He also gave me an irrigation plan. Later I was billed for the irrigation plan that I did not request or use. I went back to work out the billing for the irrigation plan and tell them I was never billed for the landscape plan. No was told I had to pay for the irrigation plan because they have it to me and that bill included the landscape plan. Two weeks later I received a $1100 bill for the land scape plan! I was amazed that a plan that was wrong took 11 hours! We used their company to install curbing and a few rocks. When the team came to install if I had not been there they would have installed 2x as much curbing than I had requested. After the install I was billed for more rocks than what was planned. Multiple times I tried to contact the company over the discrepancy, but only one person could make a change to the bill, the landscape architect, and he was not available. He would call back, but I am very busy and was not at my phone when he called. In the end the bill went to 60 days over due so I just payed it. In the end I was very displeased and would never recommend them to anyone. (Of note, the landscape bill did not arrive until after the curbing was done. Had I received the bill earlier I would NOT have done any more business with them)

It was a personal recommendation. They are consistent. I can count on them. We've had some problems with some of the plants they put in for us but to be honest they've been very good at covering that because they put the plants in and they were determining how they were gonna be watered and then they died, they stood behind that. It took a little work to get that done but they ended up replacing the plants and not charging us. It was quite a lot of money, it was about $3000. But they admitted they didn't do the watering right so that's why they did that for us. I would highly recommend them for that. Integrity is worth something. They're very good for us. Now we're looking at redoing our grass altogether and putting in a good one because we were not getting what we wanted and they agreed at what we possibly needed to do. They haven't done it yet and they still have to give us a quote but we'll still use them. I'd say their price was fair.

Apparently they have enough business and are not interested in looking for more customers. I was deploying and needed someone to look after the yard for my family while away. After multiple attempts, there was no contact attempts made by the company.

They truly suck at understanding business

I have hired Masterscapes for the last 2 years. Though it is expensive, they are in line with others I received bids from. I have been satisfied with their work and their response to any complaints I had. I plan on hiring them again this year.

I put in a request online. They called me but I missed the call, but the rep was at my house and my husband spoke to him. He got us on their schedule quickly and the crew came to the house did the work. We didn't have to do anything the day they came because everything was set up.

Excellent job overall. We will be using them for routine lawn service. We live in the country and have an odd lot to mow with lots of trees. They did an excellent job and we have more usable space among the trees then we ever have. Love being outside now.

They are originally responsible for the re-landscaping of our lawn with sod, stone layout/pathway, and planting of trees a couple of years back--job well done!

They are a solid staff laden with professional licenses of various fields/levels, to include, but not limited to Arborists, Pest Control, Landscape, and Irrigation. They are keepers--my hats off to them all.

I requested them to come out and quote me on my lawn curbing. I had already spraypainted what i wanted them to put it down. The man advised me that it would look a little better if i did it diffrently and I took his advice, it turned out great. I had originally not been quoted for a tree circle in the middle of the lawn but changed my mind on work day. There is a 75 ft minimum and i only had 50ft so last min i sprayed on a tree circle and still came in under the min. The day the workers came out it was done in under 2hrs. I was surprised how quickly it was done. Looks great and withing the next few months two others on my block got curbing boositng out neighborhoods apperance. Thanks Masterscapes

I called Masterscapes for a consultation regarding plants suitable for forming a screen around the perimeter of my backyard. They arrived promptly, listened to my concerns, took copious notes, and were back to me within 3 days with a bid using Japanese Ligustrum, which they said would provide a full screen within 3 years. They also said they could use less mature plants for 1/2 the cost, if that was an issue. This occurred in July of '07. They also suggested that we wait to plant until the summer heat abated. We scheduled a date in September. They arrived promptly, properly prepared the area, planted beautiful, healthy shrubs, mulched, and also dug out an area surrounding a pecan tree that I wanted to plant with Caladium bulbs the following spring. It was pricey ($2000.00 for 10 well-established plants) but, almost a year later, the ligustrum are fabulous. In two more years they will completely screen our backyard. These people know their business. They are prompt, professional, courteous, and even perform follow-up to see if we're happy with their service!
