After the last one in the garage ceiling caused some damage to the ceiling I decided to replace the whole cold water pipes in the attic and a few of the walls. The hot water pipes have never leaked; until the day the plumbers came! I got them off Angie's List, but they do not deserve the A rating 2 reviews in the list give them. They are a solid C. At one point removing the copper pipe they left a new tan water stain in the garage ceiling. They could be a bit more careful when removing pipe not to dump any water in the pipes in the ceiling. They ran the new pipe over everything else in the attic; it is quite a jumble up there. It could have been better organized. They accidentally disconnected a TV cable but I found it and reconnected it myself. But the worst was they had stepped on a hot water pipe at the joint separating it but did not notice until they turned the water on. It flooded my kitchen; exactly what I hoped to prevent by replacing the copper pipes! Luckily I was there to get multiple buckets and trash cans to contain streams of water coming from the ceiling and clean up the mess after-wards. It took them maybe 20 minutes to control it; too long I thought. If I had not been there the damage would have been much worse. It was a lot of work on my part containing the damage. It leaked all over and inside a China cabinet. They said they would pay for it but I had to argue with them to get $250 out of them. The final price paid reflects that discount. Some ceiling sheet-rock had to be replaced and the whole ceiling re-surfaced and painted. They put in some new lines to sinks but did not secure the valves coming out of the walls. I have yet to deal with that. Next, the RO system. The line to the refrigerator leaked; they fixed it later. Although the ice maker works, the water dispenser on the fridge does not. I don't know who to blame for that. The dishwasher installation went okay, cost $65 but they said they had to replace the garbage disposal; fine with me. One of the 2 garden faucets they installed outside leaked; they fixed it later. For the PEXa pipe job plus 2 faucets they quoted $1200 and used over 300 ft of pipe. They ended up charging me $1400 for a few extras; fine with me. In short, they had 3 leaks, one major, in these jobs. That is too much for professionals. I may use them again because I have yet to find a truly A-rated plumber here."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/mcallen/san-juan-plumbing-co-reviews-2179441.htm"},"position":10}]}

"We hired Castillo's to remove and replace our tile floor. Throughout the process, the owner was friendly and informative. I had high hopes for this project and the company we chose. From the beginning, the workers did not show up when they were supposed to. When I asked the owner where they were, she always had an excuse. I would have preferred to have been contacted beforehand. Many things were promised that never happened. The "cleaning" crew came in at the end of the job and used our mop. The owner said it would be replaced even though I didn't mention it. This didn't happen. The workers left our house a mess - cigarette butts and tile dust were left in our front yard. Door frames, baseboards, and our jacuzzi tub were cracked. Our cabinets and baseboards were heavily scratched, our new paint was scraped off during the process, and the caps from the toilet disappeared. The owners came and looked at the damages and said that they would be repaired. They gave us a date, but of course did not show. In the meantime, we discovered a tile that was not adhered to the floor at all, and we found several places that were missing grout and bubbles started to form. One worker came out and filled in the bubbles. I showed him the loose tile, and he said he would inform the owner. After this, I never heard from them again. I texted repeatedly and sent messages through facebook but got no response, despite being promised that "we will never leave you high and dry." I should have held onto the final payment, but I didn't anticipate finding so much destruction, and I trusted this company to stick to what they promised. Aside from all the damage and mess left behind, some tiles are not even, there's still gaping holes where grout should be, and the pattern of the tile is off in many places. I would not recommend this company for a large job like this. From talking to the owner, I believe they know what they're doing, they just don't follow through."

FAQs for ceiling fan service projects in Raymondsville, TX
Standard ceiling fans are the traditional-style fans made from plastic, wood, metal, or fiberboard.
Smart ceiling fans allow you to control it with your smartphone or voice commands.
Dual-motor ceiling fans have two motors that produce more airflow in multiple directions.
Energy-Star ceiling fans are similar to standard fans but can be up to 60% more energy efficient than other fans, lowering your utility bill.
Large ceiling fans work best in large rooms where the ceilings are between 10 and 25 feet high.
If you need to install electrical wiring for your new ceiling fan, contact a local ceiling fan installer to help with this project. If you’re not a licensed electrician, installing wiring yourself could be a code violation. Even worse, this project can be dangerous if not done correctly.
However, if you’re replacing an existing ceiling fan, and you are an experienced DIYer, you may be able to install it yourself. This option might involve purchasing a special ladder if you have a vaulted ceiling. Replacing a ceiling fan yourself can save on labor costs, but if you aren’t handy, be sure to call a pro.
Not every ceiling fan is best suited for every room type. The size of the room dictates the size of your ceiling fan. Consult a ceiling fan installer to determine the right fan for your room and reference this sizing information:
Rooms smaller than 75 square feet require a fan of 29 to 36 inches.
Rooms from 75 to 175 square feet require a fan of 42 to 48 inches.
Rooms from 176 to 350 square feet require a fan of 52 to 56 inches.
Rooms over 350 square feet require a fan of larger than 60 inches.
The time it takes to install a ceiling fan depends on whether you have existing wiring. If you’re swapping out one ceiling fan for another, it’ll take one to two hours for your ceiling fan professional to make the switch. However, if your ceiling fan installer needs to install wiring or if it's a difficult installation—places like high ceilings, porches, or attics—it could take up to four hours for complete installation.
The cost to install a ceiling fan is $250 on average, ranging from $85 to $605 or more, depending on the fan type and size and if additional wiring or switches are required.
Standard fans are typically the most cost-effective, ranging from $50 to $300 to install. Complex ceiling fans like rotational fans with a dual motor are usually the most expensive to install, ranging from $200 to $1,500. It’s important to note that installing a ceiling fan in a room without existing wiring is a very complex job that could cost up to $2,000.
