I paid the $50 service fee for initial call. I asked about installing a reverse osmosis and water system. I was told I would be provided a written estimate. I never received a written estimate. I was verbally quoted over $900 to install the RO. I was told the softener system would require cutting into my bedroom wall and cost over $3000. I got my RO installed for $250 and the water softener system for $450. The service technician was Angel. I would highly recommend not to use this company.

I had a leak on the living room ceiling of my condo. Some years ago, a copper pipe in the ceiling developed a pinhole leak, so I called for a plumber. The plumber listened to my concern, inspected the plumbing in the bathroom on the floor above and looked at the a/c in the attic. He determined the problem was due to a lack of insulation on the a/c's copper pipes. The HVAC repairman was called and arrived quickly. The problem was corrected that same afternoon.

This company did not contacted me.

Got fixed properly

Mike's pickles and dimes to make their money. Be forewarned. I called Mike's based on Angie's List reviews and some others I'd heard. I made an appointment for 2 days later. I was told they would charge me $30 just to have the electrician come out but that the electrician would roll that into the work costs. So I went ahead and confirmed the appointment. My appointment window came and I saw I had a missed call from Mike's. I called them back to find out that they will only show up for the appointment made if you call back and confirm you are home but neglected to tell me of this "call back policy" when I made the appointment. The electrician shows up 20 mins later and immediately gets to work but never rang our doorbell. My husband discovered him out front working. The electrician then tells him that it's going to be $100 for him to inspect the issue, which is yet another thing their woman scheduler neglected to tell me when I made the appointment. He says that then he'll give a quote for the work on top of the $100 inspection fee + $30 visit fee. My husband speaks to the owner, who we assume is Mike, who then says he has a recording of our call. We tell him to play it but he says we have to come down to listen. So he listens to it himself and then acts like the call wasn't important - because it shows that your people don't tell your customers about all these illicit fees that you charge last minute to make a buck. Then he tries to say that he can't tell customers about the $100 fee over the phone. The whole thing was reeking of deception. Needless to say, we did not use his services. If you want to charge for everything, then I recommend you informing your customers of all these fees ahead of time. I've heard great things about the work, so as along as you are fine paying through the work for it, then you should be good. Us? We'll go with a regular, upfront electrician.

I had a toilet clogged up. I don't remember the cost. They're expensive.

The service was punctual and the technician was very curdious and knowledgeable about the work. He was honest about what needed to be done; no more, no less.. The pricing was good for the work done, but for a change of a faucet, that was a little steep for me, but all in all I would recommend them and would personally hire them again.

They fixed everything the following day from the call. Everything was fixed well without any problems.

After replacing my A/C compressor, the unit lost all the freon and when I called Mike's back they still charged me $150 because they claimed that the valves that they used to drain the old freon were not covered with the warranty.

They could not give a simple quote over the phone and wanted to charger for them to just come out to look at the water heater.

I used them consistently. Some jobs are pricier then others. But their workers are great and on time

I am satisfied with the work but frustrated because I can't seem to get a work order when they do the work.

The response was always prompt..the repairs were done efficiently and the technicians were courteous, friendly and professional.

A little longer than expected but very satisfactory work and cleanup. Cost was competitive...

I tried Mike's when I first arrived in the Valley and was pleased at price and the quality of the work to replumb our bath and kitchen, install electrical upgrades & circuits and a gas line, serviced our two HVAC units.. I would gladly provide a reference. I've joined their Home Shield Protection Plan so I get priority service, discounts,and use them for all my plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Thanks Mike (and all your fine service folks who have worked at our home.)

they worked around my schedule

I was trying to get an estimate to get it repaired and the company want to charge me for the visit to do an estimate. How they can get an accurate estimate without going where the heater is. They should have a proper customer service giving an estimate without cost to the potential customer.

Alright but we did not get our 15% discount & we mentioned it when we called & again to service man

The tecnician was young but well mannered. Did not mind getting dirty to get things done.

They may not be the cheapest, but their workers are professional, courteous and get the work done as expected. Their work is also guaranteed should you have any problems. We did have a few communication errors between the person that did the original bid and the person that actually did the install, but they worked it all out and we received the work we needed.

They were polite and did the job quick.
