Note: My piano had not been tuned for at least 5 years!
After my initial phone call, Mr. Shipley returned my call promptly and was very flexible working with my schedule to set up a time.
He stayed at my home for about 2.5-3 hours tuning my piano - including adjusting the pitch. Note: He asked me first if I wanted the pitch adjusted and told me it would take more time / $. He was very polite and professional and I will definitely use him next time. I don't have a trained ear but it sounds great now! (The cost reflected above includes tax - seemed very reasonable given the amount of time since the last tune)

Two keys on my piano produced a vibrating noise. I called Jimmy for a tuning. He returned my call promptly. He had a packed schedule but still managed to fit me in. He did a great job with the turning. He is punctual, competent, and reliable.

We have used Jimmy Shipley in the past. The piano had not been tuned in over 20 years and the piano had been moved. Jimmy started work on that several years ago. The piano was so out of town that the piano had to be tuned every 6 months. We are now tuning the piano yearly and it sounds wonderful.

My piano was recently tuned by a different tuner but it did not sound right. I called everywhere for same day tuning service and Jimmy was the only one who responded positively. His schedule was packed till 7pm but he told me he'd come in after his last job and he did! He worked on the piano for 2hrs until the piano sounded beautifully. I find him very competent, professional, conscientious, and reliable. I can't be happier with his service!

Mr. Shipley is very professional. He quickly responded to my voicemail requesting his services. He was able to work me into his schedule within a week's time. He was exceedingly patient when it was I who arrived late to the appointment. He was quick to get to work and worked diligently for a solid two and a half hours. Great to talk to. I'm grateful for his services.

I called Mr. Shipley and left him a message and he promply called me back. He arrived on time and I was very satisfied with his work and he also said that next year he would call call me to remind. I really like that idea. His charge was reasonable. I will definately have my piano tuned by him again.

We have always been very pleased with Jimmy Shipley's work. He is honest, reasonably priced and dependable. I would not even think of hiring anyone else to tune our piano. I recommend him and his work 100%.

JIMMY HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS AND QUICK. HE GETS RIGHT TO WORK AND DOES A GREAT TUNING JOB. I FOUND HIM DOING TUNINGS FOR A LOCAL MUSIC STORE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
