Here is one example of how cool he is. After he did the master bathroom (and it was fabulous) we asked him to paint the office and we picked a greenish color for the walls and ceiling. I was at work and Bob called asking if I was *sure* that I wanted to paint the ceiling green. Since I had worked with Bob for a few months I was smart enough to pick up on his subtle question so I asked him what he thought. Well, Bob thought it would make the room look too dark, so end of discussion. We painted the ceiling a lighter color and it is awesome. Bob is never "pushy" but he has a solid sense of what works and what doesn't and he'll take the time to check in on that.
