I needed a 28’ sheet metal fence with redesigned gate to enclose my property & I needed to replace 2 metal sheets from an exterior shop wall. Not only was George affordable, he was punctual, professional, respectful, honest, skilled, competent & easy to communicate with. He even provided a detailed receipt with things itemized. "Bowie Howard’s concrete began to crack immediately after the work was finally done. 10 months later it is rubbish. Hundreds of cracks and large chunks coming out. Bowie would not return calls and emails except once where he attacked me personally and said the shoddy work was because I was a bad customer. I have had 2 different concrete contractors look at this mess to see if it can be fixed. They both pointed out immediately that it was poured incorrectly. Bowie does not stand behind his work. He price gouges, lies and cannot be trusted. I am out $20,000 for this pike of rubbish he won’t even come out to look at."

The distance between fence posts is guided by the terrain you’re installing them on, the purpose of the fence, and the material it’s made of. For the average wooden garden fence, posts should be about 6 to 8 inches apart. But if you’re going with a mesh, wire, lattice, or chain link fence, you could set the fence posts anywhere from 6 to 25 feet apart. 

Wrought iron fencing is the most expensive type of fence. Expect to pay between about $25 to $35 per linear foot for a wrought iron fence panel. The cost of installing a wood fence varies depending on the quality of the wood, but you can expect to pay between $1 and $15 per linear foot for the lumber.

Your dog might be able to slip underneath chewable, flexible fabric gate covers. When you have a wayward woofer, using wooden panels that come within an inch or two of the ground is the most secure option. You may need a metal defense barrier dug into the soil to keep your dog from digging under your fence or gate.

Deer can crawl under a fence if it has a gap of around 6 inches or more. Make sure to close all gaps at the bottom of your fence to keep deer out, and the bottom of the material should be tightly secured, or the deer will push right through it. As an added benefit, closing shorter gaps at the bottom of a fence can also keep rabbits out of your yard.
