We had DeLong repair a leak under the house in the past. It went well.  When I heard the leak as I did the last time, we called them. They were very professional. Came out and assessed the situation. Gave us a quote of $2500. It was possible that if it was on the same line as the last repair, they would go ahead and replace the pipe.  As it turned out, it was a leak in the same place that they had repaired.  They made good on their repair and didn't charge us at all.  I really appreciate their honesty and integrity.  I would definitely use them again.  Thank you DeLong Services!

I hired Delong to install pipe lining in the sewer line under the slab foundation at my house. The project was only supposed to take a week, but it dragged on for week after week after week ? not because they encountered any problems in doing the job, but because they had apparently overscheduled themselves - they only came out once or twice a week, for a only few hours at a time. Very frustrating. After they finally finished the job, they didn?t bother to pick up the debris from the project that was scattered under bushes and in the yard.  They left that for me to clean up. They also left some kind of adhesive or grease inside on the tile in both of bathroom floors for me to clean up. I also learned afterwards that they damaged the wiring for my sprinkler system when they were digging in the yard. They didn?t bother to tell me about that either, but apparently tried to fix it themselves.  They didn?t repair it correctly, and I wound up having pay someone else several hundred dollars to fix it so that my sprinkler system would work again. I thought these people would have some pride in their work, some pride about doing the job right, but it turned out I totally misjudged them.

No work was performed. I left a voicemail. As of 7/1/13, three weeks later, my call has not been returned.

I had foundation work performed by a foundation company and the
foundation company uses a another company to perform a post test for the
water and sewer. The post test failed for the sewer. This other company performed the post test and told me that I had 5 areas that had to be repaired. My house has the cast iron sewer pipes. They were going to make a hole in my kitchen, dig under the front of the house and re-route the sewer with new 3 inch pvc piping in the flower beds, under the side walk and along the front of the house. This was to do less digging under the house and less money. I wanted to get a second option because this was a lot of money with the options this company quoted me. I found Delong Services on Angies list and gave them a call. They were very informative and came to my house very quickly to determine a solution. They gave me more solutions for resolving the problem than the other company. They ran a camera to determine what could be done. They also ran their own test and only found 1 area that needed to be repaired, were as the other company found 5 areas. One of their solutions was called new flow which is a liner that is put in your pipes so limited digging is required and you use your existing pipes etc.. After more determination of what needed to be done Delong Services did the 1 repair in the master bathroom which is in the front of the house. There was a 5 ft tunnel dug under the front of the house. The repair was done and test was performed again and passed. The new flow solution was not needed and saved me thousands of dollars. They were very honest, straight forward and when work was being done they kept me informed of what was being done. I would use Delong Services again and recommend them to others. Compared to the other company I felt more at ease and comfortable, the services performed were needed. I felt they did a better job on determining what the problem or repair work needed to be done.

My residential kitchen sink stopped up and would not drain. I had a plumber snake the line which did not clear the stopped line. The plumber recommended DeLong to run a camera into the cast iron pipe to try and identify the problem. Pipe was full of black water preventing visibility, but the camera tech identified where the problem area was which was under slab foundation. The kitchen sink is adjacent to an exterior wall with a concrete slab porch. I hired DeLong to excavate a tunnel along the drain pipe to reach the problem area. Initiall the crew had to jackhammer a hole in the concrete porch about 3' x 3', then dug down about 4' and proceeded to dig a tunnel under the slab, excavating 22 feet in length in 2 days. The spoil pile was covered with plastic to protect it from rains over the weekend. On the third work day the plumber cut out and replaced the broken, sludge filled 2and quot; cast iron (T) combination with a 2and quot; PVC combination. On the fourth work day the DeLong crew returned and filled the tunnel with as much of the dirt as possible, placing the extra dirt in several low areas of my back and side yard just as I had requested. The crew patched the concrete and even textured it to match the original concrete as well as I believe could be done. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning the work site after the job was completed.

Got an estimate on the cost to reline my pipes - I was really impressed with the plumber who was sent out, who basically said that my system was fine. He had the opportunity to charge me for work I didn't really need and didn't do so. I'd certainly suggest this company to other people because they are obviously honest. I have an old house so if the pipes do ever need to be done I know who I'll be calling!
