"I thought I would need a new door from my enclosed porch into the garage. My dog had shredded the veneer on the door. Louis suggested a new face on the door which would save me a lot of money. "tl;dr: Great guys! Fast work and great communication skills. Long version: We had 3 guys come out to give us an estimate on a covered deck. The first two guys gave a wildly high number and said they'd send me a rendering (never did). Then Terry from T5T came out, looked at the backyard gave us some ideas, asked us what we wanted and gave us a great quote (within the range we were willing to spend). That was on saturday, and on Monday we received the plot rendering and sent it to our HOA. He told it us it would take 4 weeks for the HOA to approve and 6 weeks for the city approve (estimates were surprising spot on!). Once we received the approvals on a Thursday, they were out on Friday and done on Monday (that's including taking the weekend off!). The builders were fast, professional, and cleaned up well after. We even added another project with T5T when they were done. And Terry is always available by cell if you need him which is great with the 6 week wait time. Highly recommend!"

"Robert is an all-star carpenter! He installed 7 interior solid-core doors in my home. I am very happy with the project results, and will be using Robert's services at Delware Construction again! When the home was constructed in 1976, the door jams were terribly placed. Luckily Robert was able to resolve all my issues: fixing door jams, adding new hinge holes to doors, refilling old hinge holes, installing the doors, ensuring a proper door seal and trim alignment. Robert is No. 1!!"

"My wife and I have been renovating our home for the past 3 years on our own but really wanted a professional to do our master bathroom. We met with, got quotes and walked through this project with several contractors before landing on Alter and we are so glad we did! Eli and his team are amazing to work with. Incredible communication, high quality work and really made sure all our needs were met. We were very specific on what we wanted and Alter delivered. They converted our standalone shower and deep soaking tub into one giant shower. Then installed our new vanity, lights and did all the drywall, trim and baseboard work. A complete master bathroom renovation. Alter is very detail oriented and strive for perfection. The tile work was phenomenal with each tile being placed perfectly and grout lines perfectly done. At the end of every day Eli came by to check the work and make sure we were satisfied and lay down the plans for the next day. During this time there were a few things that weren't exactly how we wanted and he made sure that it got corrected before they moved forward. They made sure we were always happy with their work. Also, Eli is a pretty funny guy! If you are looking to get any renovations done, choose Alter. Their work is high quality, very communicative and will make sure before they finish, everything is exactly how you wanted it. "I hired William initially to rehang a stuck back door for $150. Then I asked if he would trim a stuck wooden patio door, reattached some gutters and hang some thick plastic curtains on the outside of a patio. He did all these cheerfully, and along the way, selected about 25 vintage LPs I had as payment for the extras. I guess I should have figured on finding a music aficianado in Austin being a pretty good handyman!"

"Contractor first powerwashed our sadly neglected deck, which brightened the wood considerably.  I had to provide the waterproofing sealant, and the kind I got had to be applied on dry wood, so he came back the next week to finish the job.  I feel much better about spending time on my deck now. I would call them again.

"Luis and his helper did a fabulous job on my 40 year old oak kitchen cabinets today. They look like new now! Also mirror frame and vanity in my bathroom were all water stained and ugly and now they are transformed! Luis is very skilled in many areas of carpentry and remodeling. Very nice guy too, explains things patientlly and listens to what you want. I recommend him for anything, He showed me impressive pictures of large projects he is done, but said he will take on even small projects. Great work!"
