Customers say: True professional

"We had two sofas and a hassock to remove. Seeing that they were not “Junk”, they carefully brought them downstairs and carefully put them into truck using my old sheets to keep them clean and separated from the junk in the truck. Hope someone can use or sell them - or it might be a nice Christmas present for these great guys!!! They were on time, very efficient and friendly. (They need another category for “furniture removal”)"

"LG Lawn Care installed an in ground sprinkler system; removed the dead grass/weeds; regraded the front yard including the drainage ditch; laid new sod. Yuri and Sergio were very easy to work with. Communication was excellent. They arrived earlier than they said they would each day. Their team was hardworking, polite and respectful of our house. We had a few concerns after the first rain which they promptly addressed. Our yard looks beautiful and we have received many complements from our neighbors. Would definitely recommend!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Follow recommendations for removal or remediation to ensure a safe living environment.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

Lead exposure poses significant health risks, including neurological, developmental, and behavioral disorders, especially critical in young children and fetuses.

When a surface that contains lead dust is disturbed, the dust can float about in the air for roughly an hour before settling again. Since you cannot see the dust, it is important always to wear protective gear when working with any materials that may contain lead paint and to keep children, pets, and others away from the area for as long as possible

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.
