"This is a SHADY outfit. Let me start out by stating I also work in REAL-ESTATE and I am an excellent applicant and have 760 Credit score, excellent savings and great references. I tried to apply for several properties with JW Co over the last year.. I have traveled from out of area to view the homes several times, and then wanted to apply that same day. JW always states " you have to wait for the maintenance hold to lift before you can apply". They tell me to check their website everyday to see when the property is ready to apply for ..which I did every morning. On 5-14-20( 12 pm) their website still showed the property was on maintenance hold. Then on the morning of 5-15, I noticed the listing was not on their website at all( 12 pm)so I called JW CO. The lady said "its been rented" She said it was rented 10 am yesterday morning.I told her all about me seeing it 7 days ago, and about it still being on hold yesterday on their website, and me not being able to apply.. she stated "Its already rented!" I asked her how could they could show a property and process an application that quick? She would not answer and hung up. They had told me in past.. you have to view the inside once its off hold and also before submitting an app.. there was an agent there on my trip,( 5-8-20) when I was out to see it and she did show me the inside at that time) This same thing happened several other times on at least 2 other homes they managed and I tried to apply for. I think JW is only letting their Friends/ Relatives apply for the rural homes! On one other of their properties I even offered to pay $50 MORE per month then their listed price( I liked the location) and they still played all these games/ not letting me or most people apply. Also, I have seen some of their homes at move out, and I can tell you they do not manage the homes well ... seems they rent to tenants that don't take care of the homes.. most of the homes were in bad shape on move out. One of the homes they managed that I had looked at.. the investor/owner was so disgruntled with their management and the condition of his property that he decided to put the home up for sale( with another broker) instead of lease it again!. Also,the only reason I applied for their homes was because I'm a senior citizen and liked the lot sizes and the semi-rural locations of some of their homes. In summary... I would stay away from using Jim Wright properties AT ALL if you are an investor, a tenant, or even a home seller... VERY SHADY real estate Co!"
