"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Have never met more of a condescending appraiser in my life. If you want somebody with a giant ego who will personally insult you, call you a retard, won't even consider any evidence you have related to the property in question, then use this guy. When asked to consider the evidence, Ed said, "Obviously I know more than you." When I complained about throwing away $850 on his appraisal due to his refusal to even consider the evidence we had, he said, "Yes you did but not to me retard." Ed Aiken is just a terrible person. "

"We had a simple plat process where we split one property into 2. We relied on A-1 to provide the service. Not only did it take 24 months to complete (yes you read that correctly), but we had to hound the team to get it done. Some of the delays were basic. Hays County had a checklist of requirements for electronic files, it took multiple rounds to get these corrected and added to the delay. That delay, because of price inflation, has cost me more than $12,000 in additional costs for septic components. Would not recommend, not even to my ex-wife."
