Quality Landscaping

I hired these guys to install and remove Christmas lights back in late November and paid them all up front. It took forever for him to finally come out. After Christmas, I call him and asked when he would be back to take down the lights. He told me he would be in the neighborhood the following week and he would take them down. But, he never showed up. I called a month later and he told me the same thing. This happen two more times. The last time in June. And he still hasn't been out to take down the lights. He was unapologetic about the whole thing and he actually hung up on me the last time we spoke. I wish people could just do what they say they are going to do. So disappointing.

Brian, and his team (Logan, and Waylan) were great to work with. I needed a fence on the property. Brian was very good at making suggestions from his experiences on what might work best for the property. Once we had the bid in which was reasonable under the current economic status, and once I approved, they were quick to start work. The 2 acres was fenced and painted in 1 week. Logan and Waylan were very professional, and punctual each morning. They communicated what next steps were and d an outstanding job. If you like working with people that do what they say they will do and on-time, then Brian and his team at Quality Landscape are some people you should call.

On time high-quality work, took everything away left a clean space

I wish I would have read some of the poor reviews before having Quality Landscaping do any work for us. There were so many issues that I' ve had to take some time to think about and process before writing this review. Brian was just not a good pick. He would promise us to work and not deliver. He was very hard to get a hold of. My husband and I eventually had to ask that we all be on a group text because we started to lack trust in his work. He would say things like" we should be there on Monday and not show up. Then when the end of the week would come we would have to text and ask what his status was. I felt like we had to constantly stay on him to complete the project. He would go for long periods with zero communication, then show up one day do 2-3 hours of work and disappear again for days. The only time he would show up fast was to ask for more money. He would pick up the money and then we would not see him for days. We were under the assumption that the project would take just a few weeks, but ended up taking 3 months. On top of him not communicating, or showing he hired a subcontractor to do a smaller retaining wall on our patio. When they got close to finishing they let us know that they had tried to get a hold of Brian and he was not answering. Brian had not paid them and they asked us for the money. We felt obligated to write the subcontractor a check, even though we paid Brian for the work already. We got a hold of Brian and he asked us to pay them and he would pay us back. Unbelievable! After days of asking for our money, we finally paid to have the check we paid the subcontractor voided. We text Brian and let him know we were disappointed that he asked us to pay twice and that it was his responsibility. The subcontractor also let us know that the material they needed ( bricks) were not the right ones and our wall looks awful and uneven. The subcontractor said he is not working with Brian ever again and that was the last we saw of them. We paid Brian almost 20K for our entire project and honestly, I do not like driving up to my house and seeing my yard. It looks half-done and not worth the money we spent on it. I would not recommend Brian or his company at all. We eventually took the loss and asked him not to come back at all. Brian and Quality Landscaping is the reason that many people are afraid to hire contractors.

Complete charlatan stay away from this business. After years of slowly declining service, I paid $400 for light installation/removal. They installed the lights over 3 weeks with continual excuses for a partly complete job (the house looked ridiculous with lights strands hanging) and damaged the driveway with an oil-leaking bucket truck. When it was time to remove they never showed, then continually ghosted my calls... when they finally answered, they made multiple undelivered promises to remove. I had to eventually call from a different number just to get Brian the owner to answer. I was forced to hire a company to remove my lights at an additional cost of $200. I gave this company every opportunity to fix its poor performance before I made a bad review. Absolute joke of a company, and if it was not a hassle and loss of my time I would sue this man in small claims court to teach him a lesson on abusing customers' trust and stealing their money STAY FAR AWAY from this POS company!!!

Brian and his crew were friendly, respectful and got the job done just as directed. Even with a 10% military discount from other tree trimming companies, Quality Landscaping was $2,730.00 less! Wood was cut to length and stacked just as I requested, and all branches were hauled away and place was cleaned. You couldn?t ask for a better tree trimming company as Quality Landscaping is second to none! Thanks Brian for a job well done and a tremendous $2730 saved!

Paid Brian $3500 for materials. He never delivered the materials, abandoned the job unfinished, and ghosted me.

I paid him the money he asked for, and it looks the same way it did before he started the work. 

Although, from the beginning, the project seemed to be very good but upon closer inspection there were several things that needed to be done/ redone or completed. Some things I had to do in the aftermath. -clearing of brush was incomplete to the point that I had to complete. -removal of landscape bricks were removed and not put back as before. -several pieces construction materials were left in the yard which I had to dispose. -part of the fencing was constructed to high which allowed the neighbors dogs to enter. -security camera was removed with mounting hardware thrown away with the old fence and camera found on the ground. -phone calls about the issues were never returned (poor customer service).

Quality Landscaping is just what their name suggests! They responded to my inquiry in a very timely manner & were ready to provide an estimate the same day! Eli came out, assessed the damage and was ready to work! He completed our 2 double gates within a matter of hours. We're very satisfied with the professionalism and quality of work we received. 5 stars, would recommend!

Did an excellent job.

Will say he can do something then never showed up to finish project. Pulled up my fence post to get the skid loader in my back yard then didn?t put the fence post back in properly. Would definitely not recommend this business to anyone.

Brian and his crew were very knowledgeable and personable! The only reason I can t give them a 5 star review is that Brian doesn t do contracts . That good ole boy tradition is alive and well in Texas but I had nothing in writing-which made me quite nervous- so the lines were very blurred for me between the two different quotes he gave me...the 1st being total removal of a very large Pecan tree and the 2nd being trimming it way back. But aside from the deal riding on a handshake, Brian did throw in a lot of things that he didn t really need to which I truly appreciated!! They did most of what I needed done and Brian even promised me he d find a better, more natural solution for getting rid of the ivy vines (supposed to be part of the quote) on the Pecan tree rather than use RoundUp!!! Over all I am very happy with the job they did and highly recommend Quality Landscaping of Lampasas!!!

They did a beautiful job following all my directions. They came when expected and were polite and kept in communication with me for the whole time.

Quality Landscaping was contracted to lay a concrete slab for a Spa Pool, install a 50 amp box and Crane Service. Mr Beaver, the owner, was hired and a contract was completed for this work. He required 50% down payment before the work started. Once he laid the concrete slab, his crew left and without a word did not return. This left me in a stressful situation to find an electrician and Crane operator in time for delivery. Mr Beaver owed me the balance of the deposit and refused to return it. I had to contact my Credit Card Company for the refund. Obviously, getting a contract in writing from Mr. Beaver is meaningless.

We hired KELLER LANDSCAPPING, and we are very happy about the results. They did a beautiful job, and we got much more than expected.

They came quickly - gave an estimate - set the date and without any further communication - showed up and did an excellent job. I am a very partiular individual and wanted just one other slight correction - they responded cheerfully and did exactly what I asked. I would definitely recommend them.
