"The air conditioning went out in the late afternoon and I have a large collection that is extremely perishable so maintaining temperature is critical. I explained this to Brian and he came over at once. He and the licensed AC associate figured out what was wrong quickly. It was too late in the day to pick up the needed part, so Brian generously offered to let me use a window unit in the meantime to keep my collection at the right temperature. By 10 the following day everything was fixed and running beautifully. To say Brian is timely and efficient would be quite an understatement. Brian saved me from a potentially expensive situation and I will most certainly use him again! With his positive Angie's List feedback and my own experience tells me this is someone you can count on.

"I requested DJ cabinets to review my cabinet plans for suggestions and quote. I met Don at his shop and he reviewed my plans, offered suggestions, price point options, showed me the projects they were currently working on. Items that were standard in his build however increased price in the other bids I got were the slow close components and the solid frame of the box part of the cabinet. Don explained the different wood options that would most likely meet my hopeful outcome ( clean lines and continuous wood grains) Don gave me a quote and a expected install date. He met both of those. DJ custom cabinets kept me informed thru the build process, asking and confirming questions., The cabinets were beautiful Don and his install crew take great pride in every aspect of the cabinet build, they appreciate a happy customer and it tells as they truly are a joy to work with and produce a fantastic cabinet for a very competitive price. It's been great to see how proud a contractor is of his workmanship and makes me feel we made a great decision using DJs Custom Cabinets."

"This guy is not just a carpenter, he is an artist. I asked him to do chair rails and under frames in our dining room, as well as do a coffered ceiling. I had no idea what all this entailed, but he did. He came and measured, gave me options, and offered guidance. The results are beyond what I hoped for. "Carlos and his team did an excellent job. They were professional from original estimate through to finished the work. Carlos was easy to work with. When I suggested we modify estimate to add another option to fix the subfloor on it he did not hesitate to do this, many contractors would have refused. In the end the subfloor was repaired and no longer has squeaks coming from it. I would highly recommend using Empire General Contracting of Texas for your next construction or remolding project."

"I will definitely use this company again, if needed. Very professional Family business. Made 1st contact/appt. with Father. Son came to the house and gave me the bid. Younger Son and co-worker did the work. I got 3 bids for work on my 50 year old house. I explained what I wanted, and Alex explained what I needed. My old breaker box was 'full' and additional circuits would require a sub-breaker panel. His recommendation was to replace the old panel completely ('at about the same price' as the sub-breaker only). Alex was pleasant to deal with and was very knowledgeable about his trade. The team that did the install worked together seamlessly, and seemed to be not only qualified but happy doing this type of work. Professional Knowledge, Professional Appearance, Professional Work a combination that will keep them busy!
