"Paul did a great job. I initially asked for the painting quote and Paul was very competitive. In addition he gave me an estimate for all other jobs I was already getting quotes for from other contractors like the hardwood floor, granite counter-top replacement and backsplash replacement. He was most competitive on all of them saving me thousands of dollars. The job took almost 3 weeks and was completed on time. Everything was done very well. Paul organized all the work and had no problem with me changing my mind in the middle of the project. Communication was excellent and there were no surprises. He even fixed our baseboards free of charge after the new carpet was put in resulting in small damage here and there. Overall I will use Alvarez painting for our future renovation projects and highly recommend everybody to give them a shot.

"Alan and his team were awesome. Alan went through my space and looked at the tile I had already bought and went over everything involved in the project. He explained things more thoroughly than anyone else I had talked to. His price was not the lowest, but his expertise and the workmanship was worth the cost. The crew arrived on time each day and worked hard. they measured and leveled each tile as they laid it. They were very polite and cleaned up each day. The floors looked great and eveything was completed when they left at the end of the project. The floor is beautiful! I get so many compliments from people who see my floors and I have no buyers remorse at all. I am hoping to hire them again to do more tile work!"

"I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and the price charged.  I live in a highrise condo and there are procedures to be followed - everything went as planned and on schedule and budget.  Jerry Hubbard (owner) remained at the worksite both days, as both worker and supervisor.  His entire crew of 5 was professional and took great care to not make a mess (they put up plastic to limit the spread of dust, etc.).  They ground down the high spots in the floor so that they would not need as many bags of leveler and thereby saved me money.  Their price was more than competitive and I would not hesitate to use them in the future at all.  The quality was great and they took extra time to advise us on floor care and nuances they had experienced previously with this type of flooring (floating engineered bamboo hardwood).  I got quotes from several companies and talked to several about the technical details, pros/cons of nailing, gluing, floating, etc, and found none more helpful than Hubbard Flooring.
