"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. They worked with us to design the floating porch that now covers what once was a patio on a concrete slab, helped us move the project through the city’s permitting process, coordinated with a great electrician who installed fans and outlets, and were very accommodating with our requests. The work took about 3 months from contract signing to completion because we added architectural drawings, and the city inspections and permits took a while to clear, but once those were in place things moved pretty fast.
