"John and Sommer were great to work with and we’re very pleased with the end result of our covered porch! They worked with us to design the floating porch that now covers what once was a patio on a concrete slab, helped us move the project through the city’s permitting process, coordinated with a great electrician who installed fans and outlets, and were very accommodating with our requests. The work took about 3 months from contract signing to completion because we added architectural drawings, and the city inspections and permits took a while to clear, but once those were in place things moved pretty fast. We spent about $15,500 in all, including permits ($~800), electrical work and fixtures (~$1,800), architectural drawings (~$1,500), and the cost of labor and parts (~$11,000). The approximate cost of service listed below was just for the work performed by John and his crew. We would definitely hired them again!"
