"I don’t usually leave reviews unless it was BAD but this company deserves a Solid review. These guys know what they are doing. I Replaced an aging fence with a new beautiful board on board fence. Price Bid was in line and or better with the 2 other competitors I had quote. They set themselves apart by giving a best use of my lot quote based on my goals not in just mirroring the current prior fence. The New fence layout they recommended was much better! Their Install team showed up on time, cleaned up daily and ensured I loved the work before they left. If you are shopping for a new fence this company is an easy recommended choice. 5 stars start to finish!!"

Customers say: True professional

"Chase from Blacksmith responded quickly to our quote request and he met with us to determine our fencing needs. We had just installed new retaining walls. His quote was online with other bidders. Chase was very knowledgeable and he made recommendations which we adopted. They were about 5 weeks out based on their scheduling which was fine with us. Chase k kept us informed on the starting date and throughout the project. Crew was hard working and courteous and cleaned up property when finished. I would definitely use them again!!"

"Buzz Custom Fence did an *excellent* job from start to finish. From the original visit and quote (by Mike) to the the 2-3 man crew that did the work, everything was great. The crew worked hard in the cold, took now shortcuts, and cut no corners. The result is a functional and beautiful fence. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful!!! Much to our surprise, the company which previously provided the installation was unavailable last year to install our holiday lighting - yikes!!!!! Frank Lester @ A Fence Rescuer - literally came to our rescue - and was successful in obtaining the lights from the previous installer and did a beautiful job of installing the lights - and he even added additional lights to really give the project the perfect look ... his team installed the lights exactly when we needed them ... right on schedule ... no surprises ... and for very attractive pricing. Our Christmas lighting set the stage for a joyous 2015 Holiday season. Now to 2016, Frank's group installed this year's Christmas lights & wreath this morning and again the house looks beautiful for the holidays. We couldn't be happier with Frank and would sure recommend A Fence Rescuer for your consideration for your Holiday lighting."

"Reco and his crew removed the existing fence and installed a beautiful new 6 foot fence with and additional wide gate in front. My wife and I are very happy with how things went. We have gotten many complements on the look and style of the fence. Reco asked if it would be alright to add their sign to the fence when they were done. That it would be framed so it would not detract from the look of the fence. I said that would be fine. In an over site this was not done.  It's a shame because I believe the would have gotten more business from people seeing the quality of the work. My wife and I have been asked about the builder, but we did not have their card or price on hand at the time.

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Voles are attracted to areas with lots of vegetation that they can hide in. Since they eat mostly grasses, tubers, and bulbs, a robust garden can attract voles that wouldn’t have looked twice at a barren rock garden. Voles also like to hide out in dense ground cover, so that can attract them as well.

Professional services cost between $75 and $150, depending on the size of the home and the severity of the infestation. Multiple treatments often increase costs.

Anecdotal evidence suggests coffee grounds can keep chipmunks away. Sprinkle them throughout your garden, yard, and plants to help deter them. As an added bonus, coffee grounds can help keep the slugs away, and they’re great for acid-loving plants such as hydrangeas, azaleas, and rhododendrons.

No, according to the CDC, animals do not usually pose health risks to swimmers, even if one dies. If a pool is maintained well, chlorine should kill any germs left by an animal within minutes. That said, homeowners should remove the animal as soon as possible and clean and disinfect the pool afterward.

If you’re having trouble with your traps, first examine them for flaws that would allow a squirrel to escape easily, such as loose doors or hinges. It’s also important to consider the location of your trap: Place it in areas with higher squirrel traffic, and make sure it’s on a sturdy surface so it can’t wobble or tip (squirrels aren’t likely to walk in a trap that isn’t stable). Lastly, try changing out your bait—in-shell peanuts or peanut butter often work best.
