"Soto did my backyard landscape. First they trimmed my trees and a week later they came in and rotor tilted my backyard, put in new dirt and installed St Augustine grass . They also put in a rocks garden. They are bringing in river stones for my garden and they are putting river rocks alone my backyard fence. I have three neighbors and two friends that will be working with Soto in the future. My yard looks the best it has in 20 years."

Small jobs welcome

"Decided to take a chance on this new company to remove kitchen appliances that were taking up space in my garage. This is a veteran owned, second generation enlisted Navy business. The prices were fair and the service prompt. Aaron picked up the items and took them to their donation destination. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs moving or removal services."

"Cooper Rush from S&R did the pickup of trash that we had. He was prompt, courteous, cleaned everything up when he was done. His price was very fair. If I could give him a 10 I would. Will definately call him again and recommend him to others."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.
