"I had a couple spots in our drywall that needed repair from an old security system. He was extremely quick to respond, communicated well on the details and timeline, and the finished product looks great at a very fair price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a drywall repair."

"Very responsive to request for quote. May not have been the cheapest quote but was very reasonable and Was able to start work quickly. Drywall work was completed one day and all the painting the next. Initially we were not going to have the trim and doors painted, however they suggested it and we agreed it would look much nicer. All walls and ceilings were painted with two quotes. The sanded the doors down before repainting and frankly, I figured that would be a step that would be skipped. Was glad to see they didn't take those shortcuts. We had them come back after we had to tear some drywall back out to fix an issue. Again they installed, finished the drywall and painted. In addition we had a chair rail that we had taken off. The painting crew reinstalled the chair rail for us without even requesting it to be done. They not only put it back up, but filled the nail holes and finished painting it. Another small difference maker as to why we enjoyed working with White Lion. They were very respectful and made sure to have drop clothes run wherever they walked through the house."

"David was on time and very fair. There was a mix up with the paint color that I wish they might have caught the first time. They came back promptly and fixed. Based on his customer service, I will use them again."

"Anguiano Home Renovations did an excellent job on my garage drywall repair. They were professional, on time, and very thorough. The crew reached out quickly after I posted the job, gave me the best price quote, and had the work completed the same day. They also cleaned up the area before leaving, which I really appreciated. I’m very happy with the quality of the repair and will absolutely use them again if I need any drywall work in the future. Highly recommend!"

"Generally, I am quite satisfied.  They came early on the first day and were done on a timely basis on the second day.  Two coats of paint on everything and all issues look well-sealed.  Couple of oops on the back of the railing on the front porch, but I can easily touch it up without much trouble.  They were very professional and friendly.  I will definitely use them again for other projects."

"It went wonderfully. They reinforced and leveled our subfloor with additional material and screws and built the walls up from damaged exposed drywall paper to a great level textured paintable surface. Great work."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Very little. One inch of water can stain walls, warp wood, and create a perfect environment for mold growth. One to two inches of water can do significant damage to drywall, insulation, and electrical systems. Anything over that is considered an extensive flood, often resulting in severe structural damage.

Regular inspections, repainting, and avoiding moisture exposure help maintain integrity.

Yes, you can put paneling over textured walls. Of course, this will come down to personal preference and the type of paneling you want to install. From board-and-batten to shiplap and wainscoting, there are plenty of options to choose from.

There is no way to cut drywall without making dust, but you can reduce the amount of dust and especially the dangerous airborne particles by using manual cutting tools. Using a utility knife to score and snap your drywall will minimize dust production, and a jab saw for cutting cutouts for boxes and fixtures will generate almost no airborne dust. Even if you use these methods, you should still wear a respirator and safety goggles to avoid damage to your lungs and eyes.

You should always hang drywall from the top down. Starting at the top makes it easier to create a straight, tight line between the ceiling and the wall. Any gaps that occur will be at the bottom, where they are easier to manage. You can either cut the bottom piece of drywall to fit the remaining space or cover the gap with baseboard trim. Additionally, starting at the top is physically easier, as you won't have to fit the top sheet into a tight space between the lower sheet and the ceiling, or try to balance the upper sheets on the lower ones while securing them.
