"Jose and his team are exceptional. We hired him for 3 small projects (installing a screen door, installing a barn door in the nursery and replacing water damaged ceiling and adding beams). The quality and thoughtfulness of the work far exceeded our expectations. How can you exceed expectations installing a screen door, you ask? He noticed we had cats and made sure to order an upgraded pet-safe door. All materials were included in his estimate and he consistently ordered extremely high quality materials and finishes. "After reviewing Angie’s list, I was able to identify two (2) general contractors in my area. The first provided a general hourly quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment to provide me the number of hours required to complete the work. The second general contractor was Gulf Coast Master Craftsmen. Michael Mortensen (owner and master craftsman) contacted me regarding my request for a quote and scheduled a meeting based upon my schedule which was approximately 6:30 pm to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived home, Michael was waiting for me and we proceeded to discuss the work that was needed in addition to discussing additional work that I wanted completed. Michael recommend coming back the following day with equipment to better inspect the entire house trim to identify rotted areas in order to provide an accurate quote. A detailed quote was provided by the end of the day with pictures of damaged/rotted trim. Once approval was provided, Michael started the project within a few days. Michael notified me when he arrived at my property to start work in addition to sending me pictures at the end of the day of work performed. The project was completed in 2 days and I was once again asked to meet Michael to conduct a walk-through of work that was completed to ensure my satisfaction. The house looks much brighter (amazing what new trim and paint can do!) and although I did not anticipate having to replace house/chimney trim – Michael was able to respond and complete the work quickly to avoid disruption. I am extremely detailed and expect high level of service from anyone I hire. The work performed was seamless - the work blended well and does not look patchy which was a concern seeing as how sections were replaced. Michael addressed some observations I made related to paint splatters and even though some were from the previous owners Michael went above and beyond and cleaned up the brick. Michael clearly takes pride in his work and we will be using Michael in the near future for additional projects!"

Mike, Erin, and their crew were professional, punctual, and did a great job.   They quoted that it would take about 3 days, and they finished on time. The guys showed up on time (early on one of the days), and worked all day.  They were courteous and professional and I'm very pleased with the work that was completed at my house.   I had some minor follow up work that I decided to have done after their initial project, and they sent their crew out on a Saturday to get it done.

"OMG, The whole process, despite the rain, was Great. Mark is very meticulous about repairing and making my house look good. From start to finish he kept me informed of what would happen and why. As he found things wrong he would discuss it with me. My House now looks brand new. I'll definitely use him for other projects around my house."

"I consulted with Rob to remove some trees and to discuss placing a root barrier at the front of my home.  I have had some cracking inside the house and had been advised to install a root barrier for some oak trees in the front yard.  Rob gave me an estimate for the oak trees but on examining the house and yard said that the trees were quite small to be causing that damage, as well as that the damage was not located where it would be expected if due to the trees.  He placed a call to consult with a local foundation expert including video of the trees and the cracked expansion joint on the side of my house.  At the same time while he was examining the property he recognized that right next to where the foundation damage is occurring, there is a part of the yard that is chronically waterlogged.  Once he pointed it out it was clear that this is the source of the foundation damage, particularly since we've had severe droughts in the last several years but this part of the lawn is usually very wet.  Rob also spoke with the adjacent neighbor on that side about drainage issues in his lawn, as some of the water is coming from the neighbor's irrigation.  The drainage system he installed cost 600$, whereas the root barrier would have been $3,000 and wouldn't have fixed the problem.  So I really feel that Rob's honesty, experience, and thorough evaluation of our problem saved us a ton of money, corrected an issue with the lawn we've had since moving in, and rescued our foundation. 
   The tree removal was great.  All of the work was done in about seven hours, and there was no clutter or mess left.  I will definitely be a repeat customer for landscaping needs in the future."
