"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "The job went well. Dale showed up on time and was very professional. We had been having issues with the time it took the water to heat up in the home so we had him take a look at possible causes. Dale cycled water through all the faucets to understand our concern and found the issue by the heater. Apparently the heater was set to a timer which was turned off. Afterwards he performed the cleaning of the heater which went fine."

"In the process of buying a home in December 2018, the home inspection report showed that the Chimney was detaching from the house. I was in the option period so I need to get a quote for repair within 4 days. I called RamJack as they appeared to be a reputable company to get an estimate prior to closing on the home. I spoke with Terry who scheduled an appointment on short notice and was punctual in coming for the estimate. For the estimate, he requested I make out a $150 check to him, which I did, however this conflicted with the "Free Estimates" listed on Angies list. Given the short turnaround time, I did not have time to perform my normal due diligence. At the very best Ramjack has incorrect information on its Angie's List Profile (because I was charged $150 for an estimate) at the very worst a technician took advantage of the urgency I had during the option period and privately profited from problem. With multiple other reputable foundation companies out there, I will skip Ramjack as there are communication or ethical questions that I don't have time to deal with."

"I was scheduled with United Plumbing between 5 and 8pm Dec. 23, 2024 to have a toilet installed. I tried to reach out to the number Angi sent me through Lowe’s 3 times to verify several days before the appointment, and those calls were all ignored. I got a text message from the owner “Nate” at 4:45 on the day of service asking if I was available. I called him less than 10 minutes later to tell him I was on my way to the job location, and he responded by telling me, “we don’t work after 5, so I parked my truck.” I was very confused by this since he tried to reach out to me under 10 minutes earlier. After several minutes of requesting that he fulfill his pre-scheduled appointment, and him refusing, I accepted his offer to come at 9 the next morning. I said “I’ll see you at 9, and hung up the phone.” Nate cancelled and refused to come, “because I hung up my phone.” What else was there to say?! The owner is very unprofessional, and should not be running a business!"
