He fixed the problem "the old fashion way" with a rooter from a roof-top vent. He checked all associated plumbing issues and made recommendations concerning flush rates and garbage disposals. He charged me $200. Compare that with another "big-name firm." They could not help me for three days when I called (which led to ACE on Angie's List). But the last time they came for a stopped up toilet, the technician completely dismantled the toilet and made a series of pictures of my drain pipes in order to show me why I needed a $22,000 pipe replacement project. The bill for the unstopped toilet was 8 hours of (mostly) unnecessary labor and $850. When I asked the ACE plumber about replacing pipes, he gave me several tips on how to avoid that until the pipes actually collapsed, and then quoted a price of "$12,000-$15,000." Yeah, we'll be calling ACE from now on."

This company is contacted with my home warranty service so I cannot comment on their actual price for service, but well worth my $75 fee.

"They were a bit more pricey compared to another provider but had better reviews so decided to go with them. The process was very smooth, the installers showed up promptly and completed the entire install within 5 hours even though it was raining heavily. However after they left the unit stopped working and I had to call them. They sent the same installers back to the house and he noticed the primary drain pipe was clogged so the system had auto shut-off. He spent another hour unclogging the pipes and everything is working fine since then. Staff were courteous and cleaned up everything before they left."

"Called Next Level Plumbing first thing Mon AM, originally had an apt time for 11:00 AM but they had to change my time to ~2 hrs later due to one of their jobs taking longer than planned. The receptionist did a great job calling to let us know about this hiccup and called again when the guys were on their way. I was really nervous this was going to be expensive because of the three things I thought were wrong. Turns out the only problem was the original shutoff valve needing to be replaced. The water spraying from the pipe was just the spray coming from the shutoff valve onto the pipe fitting. And the copper tubing for the disposal just had to be pushed up higher into the disposal, no danger of leaking from it. The plumber was very nice, knew what he was doing, and was pretty quick. Once he saw the problem, he and his apprentice had to run down the street to our local ACE Hardware store to get a part, then returned and finished replacing the valve quickly. The best part? The price! We'd used a different plumber about 5 yrs ago to replace the original shutoff valves under my husband's sink in the bathroom, and that had cost a lot (in the $300's, as I recall). We were only charged in the $100's, including the Angie List discount. Will call them again the next time we have a plumbing problem."
