"3 different companies came out to look at our yard. Based on general conversation with Lon and Angie's list, I felt most comfortable working with him. However to begin with we just started off by spending $300 on get Lon's landscape designer to come up with design for flower bed, based on which I got the overall quote for sod+flower bed work. After that we sat on the quote for few months, as we had to first get tree work done & were little shocked with the overall price tag. Initially we thought of saving some money by doing all the work. Basically we will buy all the material (sod, plants as per design) & getting our lawn mowing guys to install. However after some hard thought, we decided against doing on our own and rather go with some experienced company. So Lon, his designer Sandy and their crew came out few weeks back & got the job done in less than 3 days. The whole work process was very professionally organized. The work got done on schedule. The work area was left clean. And now our front-yard looks really nice. I can see front of my home! Thanks to Sandy for designing great flower bed & Lon+Crew for getting the work done properly. Now comes the hard part - me taking care of the yard, so that it stays looking good."

"This was our first project with GH Construction. Later we did the bathroom which we reviewed on earlier.
They showed up on time and gave us a great proposal. We got new tile on the floor, new back splash tile, new granite counter tops, a new dishwasher and a new stove. We also got two new wall scones and a new recesses ceiling lighting. All of which we picked out.
It took a few weeks after all the products were ordered and when they started the entire project took about 10 working days. Every one of those days they showed up on time and worked a full day. The guys who did the work were clean and they walled off the rest of the house with plastic curtains. It really helped with the construction debris and when they went home at night, they cleaned up their area.
All in all it was a great experience and I used them again a month later on our bathroom. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a good contractor to contact G.H. Construction Services."

"Shower stall installation was quick, accurate and professional. I choose subway tile white acrylic because I wanted the no grout / easy maintenance, and clean appearance. Cannot comment on other installation options (tile). More expensive than a independent contractor in general. Great option if you don't mind paying for the 1 day turnaround to get it done. Time will tell on the no mold sturdiness of the acrylic, but pleased so far."
