"I bought the $59 sprinkler tune up.  I knew I had a leak that needed to be fixed and at least 1 head that needed to be repaired.  They showed up on time and got to work on the leak.  They also replaced at least 1 head, although the receipt said 2.  They finished up and went to set my controls.  They came to me and said the the controller was not working and needed to be replaced.  Since I was running late I said I would figure it out at a later time and paid them the $123 for the service and labor plus parts.
Then it started to rain! and rain and rain for over a month.
So when I finally went to turn the sprinklers on for the first time after the service, it had been at least 5 weeks.
I looked at my control panel and easily saw that it just had a loose power connection.  So the box did not need to be replaced.  Then I notice that the head I knew needed to be fixed was not and I had a new leak right next to where they repaired the original leak.  So I called to have them come back out.  I was told they needed to look at the schedule and would get back with me.  Several days later I finally got a call that they could come out the following week.  He did arrive on time and got to work on the leak and looked at the head.  Determined that the fixes were more involved than the time he had and said he would need to look at the schedule to get back for the fixes.  That was over a week ago with no call back.  So through the hottest weeks of the summer so far at 104 and above, I am having to hand water the entire front lawn.
The guys were very nice when on site, but the follow up and response is terrible.
I also have concerns on why the single head I showed them that needed service was not fixed.
Then I was also concerned about being told my control box needed replacing when it was a simple loose connection.
Since it has been over a week since hearing from them I will now be finding another company to complete the work and letting my friends and family know not to use this one due to lack of service and horrible response.

"We had been discussing how to create an area for our grill that was off the main patio area. We were considering cutting out an area of an existing retaining wall & digging out the dirt where we had a gas line already in place. We contacted a few masons to give us ideas on how to best make our idea work. When Brian, with Stonemasters, came out to discuss, after some discussion about costs & aesthetics he suggested we move the gas line to the other side of our patio and build an area in the corner of our yard using some of the same stone as the existing retaining wall. He suggested a gas line guy that he uses on occasion to move the gas line. Then his crew came out to build out this addition. They did a great job & we couldn't be happier with the results. Brian's suggestion saved our retaining wall & flower bed, not to mention a lot of money. Brian takes care of his customers as well or better than any contractor we have used. He is very professional & does at least what the job calls for, if not over & above. We had told him that there were a few loose stones around our retaining wall & he had his crew repair all those too for no additional costs. We highly recommend Brian and/or Stonemasters for any job within his categories and will use him any time we need work done that involves masonry, concrete work, patio repair or anything we think Stonemasters could do."

"I have used Joseph on multiple occasions for pool repairs over the last two years. He is responsive, honest, and reasonably priced. When my pool equipment all froze during the winter storm he was able to replace/fix all the equipment in a timely manner and got my pool back up and running quickly. He is always happy to provide me with advice as well on repairs which I really appreciate and one of the reasons why I keep using Joseph. I truly recommend!"

"I had had problems with a prior waterfall leaking and ponding, so when I did the contract with Suburbia, at my request they agreed to give me a two year warranty for those particular problems.  Unfortunately, I have had constant problems with my waterfall both leaking and ponding (it's supposed to be pondless) in the last almost two years since Suburbia installed it.  However, the main reason I'm writing this review is to complain about their poor responsiveness on warranty issues.  Each time, I have to call them multiple times before I even get a response, they fail to show up when they say they will, and they still haven't fixed the problems with the waterfall notwithstanding coming out many times since it was installed.  They also came up with a design that is apparently very difficult to maintain and requires pulling all the rocks apart to get to the source.  To be fair, I do think that Doug is extremely gifted artistically, and we do love the look of the waterfall (especially when we can actually have it running when it's not leaking, etc.).  I just can't recommend them, though, for their ability to have an effective functional design or for their responsiveness on warranty issues, which is terrible.

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

Pool maintenance costs an average of $230 per service, with prices ranging from $50 to $750 per service, depending on several factors. The type of service will usually be the most significant cost factor, as opening and closing a pool takes a few hours and can total $400 or more, while regular cleanings could cost under $100. The size of your pool and the type of pool—above-ground, in-ground, saltwater—can also affect the price of maintenance.

Infinity pools do require slightly more maintenance than other pools because you’ll need to constantly monitor the water level. If the water level is out of whack, it won’t correctly flow over the edge, which gives the pool its infinity look.

That said, the rest of the maintenance is largely dependent on the type of material you choose. Concrete needs a little extra care to prevent algae growth, and you will eventually need to resurface it. Fiberglass and vinyl liners are algae-resistant but they’re not as durable.

Completely refreshing the water in an aboveground pool every five to seven years helps keep it free of bacteria and algae. Emptying the pool also allows you to clean, repair, or replace the pool liner. Schedule your water change when the weather is mild, as intense heat or cold can damage the pool liner when the pool is empty.

No, you shouldn’t be able to taste the salt at all since saltwater pools only contain about 10% of the salt you’d find in ocean water. Saltwater pools do create some chlorine, though, so you should still try not to drink the water.

Installation typically takes 4-8 weeks, including site preparation and liner installation.
