"We were very happy with our experience using Great Grout Tile Care.  Giovanni and his crew were friendly and professional.  They cleaned and sealed the grout on a fairly large tile floor and the floor looks brand new again.  I would recommend this company to others.

"Adrian with T&T is my go-to guy for all your flooring needs. A true diamond vendor. I cannot tell you how valuable he is to me and my clients. As a realtor and homeowner, i have clients that depend on me to give them good and trustworthy referrals. I have used T&T for my personal home and referred T&T to all my neighbors and my clients and frequently get this response, "Where did you find Adrian"? I tell them that I was so lucky to find him and always know that I can count on him to get the job done on time with the utmost professionalism and quality in every job. If you are looking to replace or repair your carpet, tile or sealing, add new wood flooring or laminate flooring, update your garage flooring (coasting) then T&T is the company you know you can count on. Fair prices but dependable service and quality results. Adrian Johnson is your guy, and I mean that sincerely. Kellie, Austin Realtor"

"I've finally found a carpet cleaner I'm happy with. In the past, I've had people who either soaked my floors, didn't remove stains, or had excuses for why they wouldn't be able to do the job. Showcase Carpet Cleaning was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up an appointment. Mr. Herzog was polite, fair, and extremely conscientious. He even gave me spot remover solution so I can tackle my pet mishaps between cleanings. I asked him to put me on his list of frequent customers."

"We moved from a house that we had rented for over a year and heard about Genesis Floor Care from a friend who highly recommended them.  I could not be more pleased with the quality of job that was done for the affordable pricing they offer. I am still truly astounded by how quick and professional they were. I am pretty picky so I wanted to make sure that I left the owners home as good if not better than before so I hired them to clean the tile flooring and grout, clean the carpets in the rest of the house and to power wash the patio which was concrete. I was so impressed with them that when they said that they could also clean furniture I had both of my couches and my recliner done too!!! I couldn't believe that I got that all done with what I paid. I would DEFINITELY recommend Genesis Floor Care to anyone looking for extremely quality work at affordable pricing. Plus Derrick, the owner, is such a pleasure to work with. I'm so grateful my friend's recommended him and I just want to pay it forward. :)"

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Floor polishing isn’t technically necessary, but it will help your floors last longer and hold up better to scratches. Floor polish is a thin coating that fills in small abrasions on your floor and makes them less visible, and it can act as a protective covering that prevents future damage to the floor underneath. Floor polish helps protect against water and moisture, so it’s a great service if you want to extend the lifespan of your floors. Additionally, polish makes your floors shine, making your home look cleaner and more inviting.

Yes. Baking soda and vinegar—when diluted with water—are safe to use to clean sticky laminate floors.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

If you’re looking for commercial cleaners, just check the label to find options that say they are safe for vinyl. Otherwise, homemade cleaners work great for vinyl plank flooring. Baking soda paste works well for spot-cleaning, and vinegar mixed with water is best for all-over cleaning. You can even clean your floors with plain water, which is great for everyday maintenance.

After carpet removal, prepare for new flooring by assessing the subfloor. You will want to address any imperfections to create a smooth and level base for installation. Remember, proper subfloor preparation is crucial for optimal new flooring results. Consider repairing and replacing damaged areas for a stable foundation. For both wood and concrete subfloors, consider sanding to remove any debris or adhesives remaining thoroughly.
