"had such a great experience with this cleaning company! They cleaned both my personal home and my Airbnb, and I was honestly impressed with the level of detail and care they put into everything. My house felt fresh, organized, and truly clean, not just surface level. They got into all the little areas that usually get overlooked, which I really appreciated. As for my Airbnb, it looked guest-ready and spotless. You can tell they understand how important presentation is, especially for short-term rentals. They were professional, on time, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing everything was taken care of without me having to micromanage. I’ll definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable, high-quality cleaning services!"

"The technician along with the business owner arrived on time.  We discussed the work to be done, then the owner talked with
the technician briefly.  The technician cleaned the floors, but only in the most rudimentary way.  He then sealed the grout with a colored sealant that matched the original grout color very well.  The finished product looked very good, but the tiles were not all that clean.
In my discussions with the owner, he offered to do the rest of the tile/grout in the house at a similar rate.  I plan on taking him up on the offer.

"It was so much better than I expected. Janet & Helen came, they were able to get me scheduled quickly. The price was more than fare. I walked past the kitchen an saw Janet had pulled the stove away from wall a bit to get the tiles behind that had grease build up. Meanwhile I was getting a very clean bathroom. They were great. Our office is a mess of wires and equipment. It's the first time I'd seen that much floor in ages. My house was awful, I've been using mobility aids for 4 years. So it was messed. I was ashamed. And they were gracious and respectful. If you want truly see their work, email me and I'll send before and after pics. Angela [email protected]"

"I've finally found a carpet cleaner I'm happy with. In the past, I've had people who either soaked my floors, didn't remove stains, or had excuses for why they wouldn't be able to do the job. Showcase Carpet Cleaning was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up an appointment. Mr. Herzog was polite, fair, and extremely conscientious. He even gave me spot remover solution so I can tackle my pet mishaps between cleanings. I asked him to put me on his list of frequent customers."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

If you’re cleaning or repairing laminate floors, avoid anything abrasive like heavy-grit sandpaper or steel wool. Because the image layer is protected by a topcoat, the image layer is more vulnerable to scratches and damage if the topcoat is damaged. And if the image layer is scratched, it can reveal the wood fiber core.

Baking soda is an excellent choice for a natural dog urine neutralizer. You can sprinkle it on a stain, leave it overnight, and then vacuum it in the morning to help rid your hardwoods of the dog urine smell. Hydrogen peroxide is another odor neutralizer, but be careful not to mix it with other household cleaners.

To maintain vinyl and linoleum floors, regular sweeping and damp mopping are recommended. It is also important to avoid using harsh chemicals, as this helps maintain the floor's appearance and integrity while preventing damage.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.
