My hardwood floors were a disaster. I had been told by one flooring company that they were beyond repair. Jon, at Pacific Edge, assured me that they could e repaired and gave me a quite reasonable quote. Pacific Edge did a beautiful job in a timely manor. My floors look better than ever! I highly recommend Pacific Edge!

Jon did a great job in the beginning but the material he uses does not have protective coat. I have oak floors and they were beautiful once done (although he missed many spots but came back and did most of them - hallway closet still not done) BUT the big issue is that a 2-3 weeks after, I have so many scratches that I literally broke down and cried! This is just by walking on them! No parties, no furniture delivery. I texted Jon and he said he will come by but he never did. I texted him again and told him that I am going to find a different solution and needed some sort of compensation in the form of refund and of course no response. This was a very expensive proposition. Do not recommend

Very satisfied with my work

My wife and I postponed having our wood floors refinished for the better part of five years, due to the scope of the job and some general apprehension about who to hire. We're very glad we waited until we found Jon and Pacific Edge Flooring. Perhaps I should refer to Jon by his new nickname, "Picasso." I began referring to him as Picasso after observing his attention to detail and obsessive pride he takes in his work. He and his team of talented and hard-working crew members truly set a standard for other contractors. They are punctual, respectful, diligent, and skilled. Hiring them was a refreshing experience after dealing with a few bozo con-artists in years past. We changed the appearance of our worn-out red oak floors to more of a natural toned look. It was a big job but Jon and his team were onsite everyday for many hours. Jon has excellent product knowledge too, particularly with the Bona line of products. I could go on, but take a pass on fast-talkers quoting abusive prices. Hire Jon "Picasso" and Pacific Edge Flooring and you'll be glad you did.

Holy cow am I impressed!! They came out and repaired my wood floors better than when they were first installed, did baseboards, and transitions!! Professional, clean, friendly and fantastic work!!

Mr. Rau did a beautiful job refinishing & repairing my hardwood white oak floors from the 1930’s!. He even had some older wood that perfectly matched, where he had to replace boards. The refinishing job I had done in 1983 doesn’t even compare to the expert care Mr. Jon Rau gave to my now “better than new” floors. He appreciates the art of his craft. Highly recommended!!! 10 stars.

Jon kept us in constant contact. If he was going to be fjve minutes late, he called us. I didn't think there was any way to refinish our wood floors without replacing some of the planks but he did it and the floors look amazing! He kept the area clean and covered the few items we left out so they wouldn't get dusty. He charged us the exact amount of the bid. He was extremely professional and polite. We wished we would have done this project earlier since Jon made it so easy.
