"The guy came and told me he would do a very good job. He sprayed inside and said he would spray outside and put down granules in the yard which he did not do. I called the office to ask, I was told I couldn’t see the granules as they were powdery and that it took two weeks to kill ants! I have never heard that! I was told Rafe would call me back which he didn’t until on Friday asked to talk to his boss! When he did call he said they did not have the product he needed. I asked him why he didn’t just tell me or have Kameron tell me. He said he didn’t know. He never apologized just kept saying his order had not come in. He said he hoped it came soon. I wonder about other customers who don’t know that think their yards were treated. He said he would have the girls let me know when they might come back but I didn’t need to be here. I told him I would definitely need to be told before hand so that I would be here. This is the third incident I have had with them. It is so sad that they would not tell their customers up front. Also they are evidently asking their employees to lie to the customer!"

He earned a degree in Education, specializing in Physical Education. I taught school for ten years while doing landscape maintenance in the evenings. "The two guys were there 15 minutes did not even get up in the tree to do the service. They made 6 cuts did not treat the bark. They did pick up the limbs and left. We called the owner he came out and justified all but for 475.00 we expected alot better service. They never got up in the trees and trimmed all the stragglers, they left a whole limb in front of the house. It was the worst service ever and they took off 50.00. Would not recommend. We have since had someone come and they spent 5 hours cleaning up the tree and doing what was needed to be done. If you want to keep your trees do not use this company."

It's easy to misidentify trees that appear to be maple trees due to similarities in leaf shapes. Sweetgum, sycamore, and yellow poplar all have leaf shapes and appearances similar to maples. Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

Generally, you’ll want to avoid pruning more than 25% of the tree’s canopy at one time. While pruning your tree is important, it’s possible to do it too often or to go too far. Again, this is why hiring a tree trimming pro to do the work is wise. However, if you do decide to DIY, going slow and trimming gradually is the name of the game.

It’s not always easy to tell when a tree is dying, although signs like dropping branches and brittle bark can sometimes offer clues. It can also be difficult to know whether a tree is dead or dormant, especially if it’s a deciduous tree. You’ll want to wait until a growth season to get a good idea of a tree’s health.
