A big storm came through the area and fried our pump motor. Dan's people were out the day after we called them and fixed it. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, provided instructions on how to use the new digital pump, and they left the user manual for us to reference in the future. We really appreciated their promptness, professionalism, and attention to detail. We are definitely going to use them again!

He diagnosed the issue and possible solutions. He let me watch him work, and he answered questions. He gave me two possible solutions to the problem and freely indicated how to change out the required parts, if I chose to do so. He also indicated the parts are widely available on-line saving me more money. So I paid him for his service, bought the required parts, and replaced/installed them in the heater myself.

Not very well 4 plus months to repair hot tub and still not working correctly.

"I apologize for the time that this repair took to complete. I had mentioned to you that the manufacturer of your spa had a proprietary circuit board that you needed for triple the cost of another one that I could source from a different vendor. You authorized this acquisition. The wrong part was sent to me and I had the correct part sent overnight at my expense. When I completed the repair you seemed satisfied. I explained to you that your new system had options on how to adjust the filter pump/ heater circulation times. The longer these cycles operate, the more electricity will be consumed. You seemed clear on this. I would be happy to provide you with any additional manuals you may need. I wish you the best."

Service started off very well - smooth sailing - great communication. Last summer I tried to get Dan to install a heater, which he said he would do, but never did even after follow-ups. This March, Dan's employee didn't show up at all and my pool turned green. When I called to complain, someone came the next day - but there was no apology and no billing correction. This summer my pool was rarely vacuumed and the service tech removed the stops from my pool pump's timer without asking permission - makeing the pump run 24/7 - which I didn't notice until I owed $300+ more than normal on my electric bill. Again, no apology and no billing adjustment. I cancelled by polite phone message and didn't even get the courtesy of a returned phone call.

We called him yesterday to schedule some preventative maintenance on the pool and left a message - replace the old and mis-functioning trichlor tablet feeder that provides chlorine for the pool. He called back within 10 minutes, said he'd be here between 10 and 12 today, and he showed up on time. He made the replacement within 15 minutes for a reasonable cost and he responded knowledgeably other questions we had. He's a class act - we'll certainly use him in the future.

Joby, the owner of Friendly Security, came out to do the work himself.He was super honest, on time, very fair with his pricing, and friendly! He gave me a great deal, explained in detail the workings of the system, and was an all around pleasure to do businesss with. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to any one who needs an alarm system installed, repaired, or monitored. He is also fire licensed.

Dan's people did an outstanding job; I am thoroughly satistfied. Although it was a lot of extra work, and they told me it couldn't really be done effectively, they knew I really wanted to save it the tile arcs on the steps, so they did the extra work anyhow, even though I had agreed to replacing the tile. They carefully cut around all the tile laid in a curved arc at the edges of the three steps into the pool, as well as those on the bottom marking the abrupt change in depth. The new plaster is beautiful workmanship.
Dan is punctual, knowledgeable, highly competent, and most of all--honest.
I highly recommend him to others.
NOTE: Good, really knowledgeable, and CONSCIENTIOUS pool repair and service peole are rare, and as a result, Dan is in high demand during peak season. If you know your pool is needing major work, try to schedule it September - February.

I was given a 2 hour window 4:00 - 6:00 and Kelby showed up at 6:00 so it was within the time frame. Kelby was very professional, courteous and patient as I had alot of questions and was writing down all the answers! I will use the company again and would definitely recommend them. I appreciated how Kelby was not in a rush and how knowledgeable he was about pool water chemistry. He said they would send me an invoice so I'm not sure what the total cost would be - he was here for about and hour and 10 minutes and I had the DE already so he didn't need to charge me for supplies. I had the DE on hand because I thought I would attempt on my own, but it's more of a job than I'd want to handle.
