"I had a hard time getting the workers to get the waterfall done like I wanted them to. Allen Curry had to come out and have them rebuild the waterfall like I had originally wanted it done. Customer service is horrible. My equipment needs repair now and I cant get anyone from Curry to come finish replacing needed parts so I can keep a clean pool. I was told last year that a new seal was needed for a filter to waterfall and they never brought it. It still needs it and I am alone and dont know how to fix it myself. I called them last week, May, 2019 and asked for help and no one has bothered to call me back. I would highly recommend that you not use this company to build your pool due to poor customer services. Virginia, Sulphur Springs, Tx"

To refill a hot tub after winter, start by opening up the tub and giving it a quick cleaning. If you use antifreeze, drain out the water then grab a hose and thoroughly clean the tub shell out, spraying water into each jet of the tub. 

Reconnect the hot tub and turn the power back on. When it’s time to fill the tub again, insert the hose into the filter well (if available). Avoid trapping too much air in the water lines, which can cause the pump to lock up when it starts again. Add the necessary chemicals and start the heating process. The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.

Properly maintaining your hot tub will prevent serious issues from occurring down the road. You should replace the filter once a year, regularly look for and repair small cracks in the shell, and test the water quality every few months. You can do this yourself for less than $100 per year.

Most hot tubs use between 1,500 watts and 6,000 watts of electricity, depending on the voltage of your heater. 120-volt heaters tip toward the low end, and 240-volt heaters tip toward the high end. Expect your pump to add another 1,500 watts. Newer, energy-efficient models use less electricity, while older models use more.
