"Andy and his crews were amazing! They arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. and immediately began jack-hammering and digging. Their employees are the hardest-working bunch of guys I've ever seen. At one point I told the foreman, Andy, I couldn't believe how hard they were working but what a mess! Andy said "by the time we're done you won't even be able to tell we were here". I thought "Yeah right". When they were done, the guys starting raking the dirt clogs from our yard, washed down the stonework around the flower beds and the sidewalk. They then poured new concrete right in front of our front door. The guy went over it 3 or 4 times to make sure it was smooth and then brushed it so it wouldn't be slippery. Then they insisted on fixing some stepping stones in our side yard that they had to break up for a couple of piers. They even replanted some of my flowers! Sure enough, you could not tell that our whole yard was a disaster area earlier that day. I have already recommended them to friends!"

"Olshan destroyed my house! The unsupervised crew of 5 Guatemalan guys, using their own guesswork, lifted the house the wrong way and beyond reasonable limits causing the destruction of bathrooms, collapse of walls, and the caving of second floor floors - see photos. Olshan is UNINSURED and theOlshan Contractors are uninsured as well. Think of that... I discovered the the result the hard way. The house on one occasion felt as if it was dropped causing bathtubs to move, walls to separate from ceilings, shower enclosure, vanities and cabinets to get dislodged from brackets and walls, walls to collapse, and floors to cave in. Olshan Enginnering charges are FRAUD! Olshan charged $650 for engineering - that is a complete fraud. No one single licensed engineer, nor any person with any engineering education was present at site, nor had designed a plan of work for the uneducated crew sent by Olshan to handle houses worth hundred of thousands and millions of dollars. Trusting Olshan on a house is nothing short of playing Russian Roulet. The 5 persons cGuatemalan crew were instructed to finish the 10-pilings job 6 hours, they started 8:30 and rushed to jack up the house bu 2 pm. Each was performing on his own guesswork without coordination, without engineering supervision, and without looking inside the house to see the ehhects of their work. The $10k Olshan job resulted in an initial repair cost in excess of $23,000 so far, and not including the structural or plumbing repairs. The endless number of lawsuits against Olshan and the DeShazers - the owners of the company was clearly filed for good reasons. Olshan's lack of ethics, greed, negligence, and the evil indifference and disregard of homeowners' life is beyond description. Befor Olshan my house had two (2) cracks on the garage wall inside the house. Olshan, work caused the creation of 39 crack inside the house and almost the collapse of a brick wall outside in which endless cracks developped. In summary; I paid Olshan $10,000 to destroy my house. That is my own experience as the photos shows"

"Cathy at Fortress is amazing. Their customer service is unmatched. We had 6 companies come out and look at our house. Several had different reports of how many piers we needed. We hired an engineer and found out we needed 28 new piers and 14 existing piers that needed to be adjusted. Cathy came and explained what was needed, what was happening with our foundation and how they would go about repairing it and answered all of our questions. She was friendly, thorough, and honest. I reached out many times before the work was scheduled and asked many more follow up questions and she would respond promptly. What sets them apart from all the other foundation companies in the area: Excellent customer service and communication Lifetime warranty that stays with the house and not the owner which would involve transfer fees While they didn't adjust our existing piers done by another company (it was determined that it was not possible/not necessarily needed at this time), if they had, they would have taken over and included those in the lifetime warranty - this was a huge perk which no one else does that we were able to find. We wanted to make sure we don't have future foundation problems, so they not only put in 28 steel piers, they tied in all of our 8 downspouts underground to make sure we never have drainage issues. As the work was coming to an end, the new piers lifted our garage about 6+ inches above the sinking, cracked driveway. So we hired them to give us a new concrete driveway and it is beautiful! They were able to squeeze that in right at the end of the other work. Cathy, Victor and the crew were all fantastic. Always on time, always cleaning up after the day's work. Cathy and Victor would explain where we were at and what to expect next each day. I can't say enough good things about this company and their team. Hire Fortress Foundation, you will be glad you did!"
