This is the second bathroom that they have remodeled for us - the last one was two years ago.

We really like the way that Gary worked closely with us to put in the features that we wanted. They redid the flooring, new sinks, closets, shower tile, added electrical outlets - basically took it down to the beams and rebuilt. The only original thing left was the bathtub.

A good example of their flexibility is that we wanted certain lighting, which they let us purchase independently and they then installed it.

Many on the crew we knew from the previous remodel, so it was nice to see consistency - their continued attention to all the details were great.

There were a couple of cosmetic issues with the first remodel that Gary took care of, at no additional cost.

Since they were already in the house, there was some additional painting we asked to be done in the front hall and master bedroom, which were done quickly and priced well.

We liked how they worked hard to keep the rest of the house clean during the construction - tarps over the carpets, clean up at the end of the day, etc.

In summary, we're very pleased and satisfied with the remodel: from the design, pricing, construction and ultimately, the result. We would use Gary again for another project.

"Great, guys came over to replace broken microwave. Issue was existing microwave was shorter than the new microwave; therefore , the existing tile needed to be trimmed back to allow the new microwave to fit. They took care of it in a few minutes - got the new microwave installed - and cleaned up as though nothing was done. Will definitely call them for future projects."

"Richard did an excellent job. I have an older house with a lot of fire blocks in the attic. He had to move my dining room fixture and place a bathroom light fixture and the microwave which required a lot of attic time. He did an excellent job and was extremely professional. He and his wife are great!"

"Great. The electricians were very professional and easy to work with. They were careful to clean up after themselves. They installed smoke detectors, replaced GFCI outlets, installed recessed lights in the kitchen, installed under counter lights in the kitchen, a ceiling fan in the living room, and bathroom heaters and fans in the bathroom. I would not hesitate to hire them again."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Projection spotlights offer an alternative (or addition) to Christmas lights. You simply plug in the projection and aim it at the side of your house or garage and watch the lightshow happen.

When determining how far apart your can lights should be, the rule of thumb is to divide the height of the ceiling by two. The resulting number is how far apart your lights should be. For example, if your ceiling is 10 feet high, your lights should have five feet between them.

Between the relatively simple process and the lower cost of installing recessed lighting yourself, it’s not a bad idea to DIY this project. It will take a little reading on electrical safety and how to properly wire your new recessed fixture, but it’s fairly easy to install a new fixture in just a couple of hours if you have the right tools and supplies on hand. But, if you’re not familiar with lighting installation, hiring a professional can give you peace of mind and ensure the job is done right.

No, there aren’t additional code requirements for kitchen lights. Kitchen lights and other electrical circuits in the kitchen have different code requirements. Outlets need to be particularly robust because of their frequency of use and proximity to liquids. If you need help determining where to install outlets in your kitchen, consult a local electrician who can ensure that placement is functional and up to code.

Under-cabinet lights are typically affixed to mounts that are drilled into the cabinet using screws. Cable staples are used to secure the cords in place. Alternatively, tape lights can be attached directly to the underside of the cabinet using adhesive. These installation methods provide secure and versatile—and potentially removable—options for illuminating your kitchen space.
