"The wait for installation was long and when scheduled, they called to "reschedule" due to the installer. Apparently they use outside contractors to install. When they showed up, they worked hard but one installer left for over 2 hours, leaving on one to work. They did not want to quit and come back (found out they get paid by the job and couldn't pick up a new job until ours was finished. They left the house at 10:05 PM. The salesman put the wrong transitions in the order despite numerous conversations. They also installed the shoe molding around our kitchen island wrong. I went to store in Pearland the next day. My salesman had been transferred and I met with the District Manager. It took over a week to get anyone back out to fix and then they brought the wrong transitions again. I called the District Manager and complained. She told me they weren't there to fix the island until I asked her to check the paperwork and she admitted it was on the work order. After numerous phone calls, the installers went to Home Depot and came back with something that would work. They were nice and got it fixed. The carpet was scheduled later and when they showed up, they pulled the old pile carpet and told me that the defects in the staircase would show up if they installed the berber carpet. I asked why the salesman didn't discuss that with me. He said the salesmen don't install. They suggested I fix the staircase, repaint it and call them back. I got it fixed and called the store. The District Manager told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come back even though the installer said it would take less than 2 hours to install it. I have called back and asked to improve the installation. They said they send an email to installation but I am still waiting a week later. I am calling the COO in Houston tomorrow. The first 2 times I used Floors for Living, they were privately owned but have been purchased by another company. The entire process was much different and less congenial. I won't ever use them again and caution anyone thinking about it to check multiple review sources."

The primary goal was to replace the large and unused jacuzzi tub with more usable storage space and to make the entire space more functional and visually appealing, fitting in with the contemporary design of my townhome. "My family and I started the process of getting a generator back in May. We signed the necessary documents and work began the beginning of June. The main purpose of us getting a generator was for us to no longer be without power during Texas horrible storm season. We have an elderly disabled veteran and now a 9-month-old that resides here so it was imperative that we got the generator. This business lacks communication and accountability! We had to reach out several times in order for them to complete this process. After Hurricane Beryl left us without power for four days, they finally came and completed the job. NOW..we have a d*** gas leak!!! We called them regarding this and they made it seem as if this was normal and would send someone out to look. That never happened. Our neighbor ended up calling Centerpoint due to smelling gas and that's when it was discovered that we had a gas leak. This could've ended tragically for my family and myself and even the neighborhood. Since Centerpoint was here, they did end up shutting off the generator. So now we're back to square one with no generator and no phone call from when this matter will be resolved from the d*** company after I've made several phone calls, text messages, and emails."

"We had a good experience with Attic Stars. When I contacted the company to schedule an appointment, the representative was very responsive, polite and answered all of my questions. The technician arrived in the time frame as stated. He was also polite and professional. He did a good job cleaning out the dryer vent. He also fixed the tubing on the dryer the correct way and tightened it. We appreciated that. The tech was also able to give us an estimate to clean the main AC unit which was at a reasonable price.
