If he can't make the appt. on time, he calls/texts to let you know. We have had his company do 6 bathrooms in the past from new counter tops, shower only installs, bathtub, new designer cabinets, plumbing and electrical outlets. "We had already done the tear out of our old tub. They installed the shower pan, plumbing for the rain shower head that we had purchased and the waterproof back board. They worked very well with scheduling as we installed porcelain tiles that we had purchased. When we completed the tile they had their glass company measure and install the custom Shower glass. The result was that I now have a beautiful custom shower."

They made sure our furniture was moved safely - tarps were placed from door to door to protect our floors - they made a special effort to keep the wife informed and allowed her to place the various components (grab bars, compartments, etc) so there would be no angst at the end. Cleaned up their work areas (inside and out) and hauled away old tub and panels) - made sure both of us understood the mechanics of the equipment and allowed me one extra day before signing off on the project for some antagonistic testing.
