"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I needed a second quote. So, I simply went to Angie’s list for the first time in my life and checked out the list of possible contractors. Chris Duncanson’s page caught my attention. I loved his work. I also liked the fact that he was not only the contractor, but also the carpenter. I wanted to have new cabinets and knowing that all the carpentry in the pictures on Angie’s list had been done by him, put him on the top of my list. I made an appointment with Chris. "The work went great. I found a water stain in my ceiling after a recent storm, and I wanted to get the repair done before the next rainstorm in the forecast. I spoke to Alex, and he showed a real interest in getting the job done and asked for any pictures that I had that could help him assess the job. He was able to help me out and get the repair done right away. He even showed me that there were some exposed nailheads (that should have been sealed by a previous contractor but weren't) and took care of that as well.
