Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. "I was pleased with the results.  In addition to bidding on the known issues, the estimator walked around my property and found several other issues including multiple long cracks in the mortar of my exterior walls.  I appreciated this extra effort although the additional work lead to doubling the cost of the work.  The crew went right to work when they arrived.  They worked hard and did a good job, leaving the work areas clean.  They were polite and respectful.  The reworked and repaired areas look great.  The only snafu was a mixup on the scheduling of the actual work.  The crew showed up unexpectedly but it all worked out.  I used a Big Deal discount for part of the work.  I would use Mason man again.
