"At first the company seemed super helpful. Eric was always pleasant and seemed to be supporting us. HOWEVER, they told us that they were dealing directly with insurance and that we wouldn't need to worry about anything. Therefore no costs, no options, no explanations of services were ever given to us. When the bill came back higher than insurance would cover they assured us that Joyce was the best in the business and would get it taken care of for us. the gap ended up being $3000 out of our pocket and as far as I can tell, no genuine effort was made to come to an agreement because we would have to pay it anyway. They were not actually working for us. In addition, the whole process was frustrating because appointments were made with us, where we canceled plans and they never showed or called. They removed equipment before it was dry and then covered themselves by putting it back in. At the end of the day our house is dry as is our bank account. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

"It is so rare that we see someone with anything near to this level of expertise, dedication, and value for any home construction or service job. This guy is the real deal, honest and professional. He does what he loves, and he loves what he does, and in doing so provides REAL value for his specific niche. Explained everything and every charge beautifully down to the last detail. We had estimates that were much higher, but he was so principled about explaining what was necessary that we were able to actually save money. We had purchased an older house, and the attic ducts were crushed and a spaghetti mess, making the vents dusty, moldy, and impossible to clean. He redesigned and replaced the ducts for an incredibly reasonable cost, focusing only on what was needed. He did all the work himself and was very careful to keep the workspace clean and tidy. There’s a bit of a delay to get him to be able to come to assess your home, but boy, was it worth it!!! Boyd Services was the most incredibly professional service I’ve hired in all my years from HomeAdvisor or Angie’s Service. We’re talking 2 decades of home services. If I could give him a hundred stars I would. We are super happy we hired him instead of the other folks."

Instead of jacking up the price for a promise of a "next day" install, they brought me two cooling units that made the wait of several days more than bearable. No sub-contractors...all their own people were timely, professional and efficient. They installed an appropriate 3.5 ton system for me on 10/20/25, had it running and comfortable in the house same evening. They even removed an old water heater from the attic that should have been removed by the contractor who installed new one about a year ago! Then came back 2 days later to do a final inspection.
