I enjoy working I started painting with my family at 5 years old stuck with that for a while. Then went to another company and got more experience in a different trade. "It's been a year since we had 360 THERMAL come out to Pearland and install Open Cell insulation in our walls, garage and attic. They came out while the home was being built. One time, Finished in one day to help with construction deadlines. They had two trucks out and knocked it out. For a 2600 sqft home my highest bill was one month $130, but I'm averaging about $80 a month electricity wise even a year out. The Owner of the company helped us pick out the best A/C system that would meet our budget and work well with the insulation. Thank you again 360 Thermal!"

"The main man Rex is great, he knows his stuff and answered all my questions about the spray insulation. Very efficient in their work and a reasonable price. They have the latest equipment, so you don’t have to worry about break downs and excuses! I’ll be using them from here on out, every house/metal building I do."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Your house may be cold even if the heat is on because of bad insulation, gaps in doors, small holes pulling hot air from the home, or excess humidity. The heater itself might be malfunctioning. For this problem, you’d need to talk to an HVAC pro. If you have a gas heating system (most do) this should be considered an urgent job as natural gas could be leaking in your home.

Generally, the cost of ice dam removal is not covered by homeowners insurance because it is often considered preventable maintenance. However, the damage caused by ice dams is frequently covered. Depending on your policy, this can include interior water damage, roof collapses, and damage to shingles. Coverage for personal belongings affected by leaks may vary. It is important to check your policy details or contact your insurer to confirm what your plan covers. Keep in mind that any damage resulting from a DIY attempt to remove an ice dam will likely not be covered.

Canned spray foam has an R-value of R-3.7 per inch. However, it’s not great for use as insulation. Also known as single-component spray foam, it doesn’t expand as much as two-part types that work for insulating the whole house. Save the canned foam for gaps around doors and windows.

No, you shouldn’t wrap a towel, old T-shirt, or other porous fabric around your faucets. These materials absorb water, which can make your faucet more likely to freeze. Instead, you want to use waterproof, insulative covers that can seal tightly around the spigots for the best protection against frozen outdoor faucets and pipes.

A DIY blown-in insulation project in a typical attic should take you no more than a week to complete. Experienced homeowners can blow an entire attic in one or two days.
