"So I needed to change my deadbolt on a a front door. I'm pretty handy and I've done exactly that several times. This time however my house had other ideas. Due to a foundation shift and subsequent repair my front door was was not closing correctly and I didn't realize the stress it was putting on the frame where the deadbolt receiver was. When I took out the old one the whole area just crumbled out. I saw a new door frame and probably a door too in my future. Fortunately I found JM here on Angi. I sent him photos and he told me he could fix it and a price. I wasn't sure how he would fix it, but I chose to trust him. So glad I did, he did a fantastic job. The door has never closed cleaner and the lock works perfectly. I plan on having him back to do some other door that are out if whack. I can't think of a better person to handle those tasks that are just outside your DIY capabilities and would recommend him to anyone."
